A New York City social worker has been arrested over the deaths of his one-year-old twins. Juan Rodriguez (left) was charged Saturday with two counts of manslaughter and two counts of criminally negligent homicide after he accidentally left his babies - son Phoenix and daughter Mariza (center) - inside his hot car. The 39-year-old is reported to have parked his Honda Accord (top right) in the Bronx around 8am, before heading off to work at a nearby hospital. He returned eight hours later to find the twins both dead 'and foaming at the mouth'. Canadian police have suggested well-meaning locals could have helped teenage murder suspects escape as they released new CCTV from almost a week ago. Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18, have been on the run since July 15 when the bodies of Lucas Fowler, 24, and Chynna Deese, 23, (right) were found in British Columbia. They are also accused of murdering University of British Columbia botanist Leonard Dyck in BC before driving more than 3,000km east to the province of Manitoba. The manhunt for the two fugitives stepped up a gear Friday night as police announced they are bringing in the army for air support and conducting door-to-door interviews of each of the 1,200 residents of the small town the alleged murderers are thought to be hiding near.👮🏻‍♂️ #wanted

Moment DOZENS of 'pedophiles' are arrested in undercover sting operation where deputies posed as minors online to lure them to a Florida home where the cops were waiting. The men are accused of trying to have sex with children as part of a Sarasota County Sheriff's Office undercover operation called Operation Intercept VI. Sheriffs posed as minors on social media sites and online apps where suspects engaged in sexually explicit conversations with law enforcement officials. The men traveled to a house in the county - one from as far as Jacksonville - with the intent of having sex with a child but instead walked into the arms of police officers. Those convicted could face up to 15 years in prison, with a five-year minimum sentence.👮🏻‍♂️

Two San Francisco teens on a ‘drug holiday’ in Rome have been arrested on charges of murder and attempted extortion in connection with the fatal stabbing of a police officer on Friday morning. Lee Elder Finnegan, 19, confessed to stabbing 35-year-old paramilitary policeman Mario Cerciello Rega (center), along with his accomplice Gabriel Christian Natale Hjorth, 18. The two men had been looking to buy drugs but were sold a fake batch by a dealer. Seeking revenge, the teens stole the bag of one of the dealers’ fixers and held it to ransom for 100 euros and a gram of cocaine. But instead of meeting up with the two men to retrieve the backpack, the fixer called police. A scuffle broke out between the officers and Rega was stabbed eight times, with one blow fatally striking his heart. 👮🏻‍♂️ #FOOLS
