Hong Kong protesters invade the city's airport with signs warning travellers 'not to trust the police or the government'. Several hundred protesters, including flight attendants, converged on the Hong Kong's airport today, calling for democracy and chanting 'free Hong Kong'. Around 200 to 300 demonstrators dressed in black filled the arrivals hall at Hong Kong International Airport - one of the world's busiest airports - and greeted international visitors with chants of 'There are no riots, there's only tyranny!' and handed out flyers. The 56-year-old Johnny Depp made new allegations against Amber Heard, 32, public as part of a libel lawsuit, claiming she threw two bottles at him and 'put a cigarette out' on his cheek during a fight in Australia in 2015. The Blast obtained a photo of Johnny Depp on a hospital stretcher with an apparent burn mark, taken a few hours after the alleged brawl. Heard's attorney said the photo 'proves nothing' and is an attempt to 'deflect attention from [Depp's] physical and ongoing psychological abuse' of Heard. ๐ฅด #wtf?
Four of the first five men to be killed by the federal government since 2003: Daniel Lewis Lee, 46 (bottom right); Wesley Ira Purkey, 67 (top right); Alfred Bourgeois, 55 (bottom left); and Dustin Lee Honken, 51 (top left), are scheduled to be executed in December or January. All are convicted murderers whose victims include children, and in some cases the children were horribly tortured and sexually abused. A close shave this week with an asteroid estimated to be about 100 meters wide is yet another unnerving reminder of how ill-prepared we are for the threat of rogue space rocks. Scientists with the Brazilian SONEAR survey detected the object, dubbed 2019 OK, on Wednesday and it was soon after confirmed by Ohio Stateโs All-Sky Automated Survey for Supernovae network. By the time it was announced, 2019 OK was just hours away from its closest approach โ which put it at a distance closer to Earth than the moon. Thankfully, experts found it poses no immediate threat, and the asteroid zipped by without incident. But, the surprise appearance has left many feeling unsettled. ๐ฑ๐ฟ #fuck_lucky

The Coast Guard has released dramatic new video after a series of recent drug busts involving vessels in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The aerial footage shows suspected drug smugglers tossing bales of cocaine overboard as their speedboat cuts across the water. More than 26,000 pounds of cocaine was seized in the area over the past few weeks, officials said. Most of the narcotic was discovered on drug-smuggling boats. The rest was found floating in bales on the ocean. The Coast Guard is scheduled to offload the drugs, with an estimated street value of $35 million, on Friday in San Diego. ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ
