Today marks the 82nd commemoration of the Pearl Harbor attack. On December 7, 1941, the peaceful Honolulu, was viciously attacked by a foreign threat. Our U.S military service members woke up to a blitzkrieg assault that intended to stun our nation. Instead, the attack triggered our nation and joined the allied forces to help end #WWII.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department honors those courageous brave souls who fought back during the battle, and we remember those who lost their lives that fateful morning. #History #PearlHarbor

Today marks the 83rd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

On December 7, 1941, the tranquil island of Honolulu, Hawaii, was suddenly disrupted by a deliberate and vicious attack from a foreign enemy. Our U.S. military personnel faced an unexpected and hostile assault intended to shock our nation.

Instead of immobilizing us, this attack united our country, prompting our entry into World War II and fostering our collaboration with the Allied forces to help bring the war to an end.

84 years ago today, 2,403 Americans woke up on a bright and shiny Sunday morning, went to church and work only to be senselessly attacked by a foreign adversary and the country was dragged into a 2nd Great War in 3 decades.
