At least 14 people are arrested as cops in riot gear clash with demonstrators as Pittsburgh erupts in protests ahead of Trump's visit. ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ
A pick-pocketing gang which has preyed upon tourists in Paris's Metro has been locked up for 113 years. The 20-strong Romanian gang exploited children between 11 and 18 years old and had them sneak on to Paris's Metro - with one distracting the holiday-maker or commuter, and the other stealing from them. Gang leaders have been put behind bars for trafficking in human beings, concealment, money laundering and conspiracy - as well as a ban on visiting France. The Paris prosecutor said: 'Fifty active miners were identified at the time of the arrests. But they do not consider themselves victims and those who were then placed had all left France the following week.' ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Police have shared a picture of a drunk Santa passed out in his jail cell after he allegedly stole the suit from a church before being found by officers in a stranger's car. The man, who has not been identified, can be seen slumped down wearing the festive costume without any shoes after his arrest in Brea, California on Tuesday. Posting the image to their Facebook and Twitter pages, the force dubbed the man 'Drunk Santa Suit Criminal'. They wrote: 'Dear Santa, I'm sorry I stole your red suit. I was drunk and made some poor choices. I know it's only October. And it's hot. Too hot for this suit. 'But I was drunk. Poor choices. Sincerely, Drunk Santa Suit Criminal.' The suspect, arrested for burglary, is said to have broken into a storage shed at a local church on Tuesday morning before being found in a car by its owner at around 7am.๐

Hundreds of thousands of Northern California residents are bracing for another possible power outage as the state's utility companies warned that a return of bad weather which could spark wildfires could prompt shut-offs. Southern California Edison is warningโฆ
Hundreds of California residents have been forced to evacuate after a wind-driven wildfire spread overnight as 500,000 people are left without power in the Golden State's second planned blackout in two weeks. Electrical equipment was blamed for setting several fires in recent years that killed scores of people and burned thousands of homes. The latest outage comes two weeks after PG&E shut down the power for several days to about 2 million people in northern and central California. The current outages will last about 48 hours, the utility company said. But its seven-day forecast shows a likelihood of another planned blackout across a much larger area. In the south, where hot, dry Santa Ana winds were expected to hit Thursday, Southern California Edison warned that it might black out about 308,000 customers - perhaps 750,000 people - depending on the forecast. San Diego Gas & Electric warned of power shutoffs to about 24,000 customers.๐

(WARNING 21+) A never-before-seen surveillance video has been made public this week as part of a wrongful death lawsuit showing a California police officer fatally shooting am unarmed 16-year-old boy in the back of the head during a foot chase. Isiah Murrietta-Golding was wanted in connection to a homicide when the car he was riding in with his brother was pulled over by police. In the footage, Murrietta-Golding is seen jumping over a fence surrounding a day care facility. At that moment, Sgt Ray Villalvazo - one of the two officers chasing the teen - draws his gun and fires a single shot through the fence, which causes Marietta-Golding to crumple to the ground after taking just eight steps. Villalvazo's partner can be heard telling him in the background, 'Good shot.' An investigation conducted by the City of Fresno's Office of independent Review later found that during the chase, the officers saw Murrietta-Golding repeatedly reach for his waistband while looking at them over his shoulder. ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ปโโ๏ธ #shooting

This is the moment a couple pushing a stroller across the road were saved from being mowed down by a 'drunk' driver running a red light. The family of three, including a one-year-old son in a stroller, were crossing the road in Phoenix, Arizona, when an SUV came careering towards them. But just as the Jeep was moments from hitting the group, a woman driving a Chevy Cruz who had right of way, crashed into the side of the vehicle, changing its course and stopping it from plowing into the pedestrians. ๐ฑ #FUCK_LUCKY
The Islamic State has turned to the popular video app TikTok, which is predominantly used by teenagers to share dance and music videos, to post clips that depict grisly beheadings and torture. The Islamic State's TikTok videos were first discovered this week and were initially believed to be propaganda clips, shared from a dozen accounts. Only later was it discovered that some of the videos depicted the violence and horror of ISIS, showing torture and murder bizarrely juxtaposed with lighthearted emoji stickers. Those videos were flagged and removed by the company. The shocking clips showed militants wearing balaclavas torturing captives by pushing them to the ground and beheading them with machetes, according to the Wall Street Journal. Other videos shows assailants shooting people at close range. ๐ฑ
