Vladimir Putin offered to sell Moscow's most advanced hypersonic missiles to the United States, the Russian President has said. Putin said he wanted to 'balance everything out' by offering the Kremlin's weapons to President Donald Trump at the G20 summit in June. However, the Americans rebuffed him and said they were already well on their way to manufacturing such weapons, Putin said. 'I told Donald the following: if you want, we can sell you some and this way we will balance everything out. But truth be told, they are saying that they will soon produce it themselves,' the Russian leader said. 'Perhaps they will, but why waste money when we already have spent some and can get something back, and at the same time not harm our security but rather create a situation where there is a balance.' ๐Ÿš€

(WARNING 21+) Police body camera footage captured the moment Utah officers fatally shot a knife-wielding suspect who ignored their orders to stand down. Ogden Police responded to reports of a man with a knife, later identified as 26-year-old Jovany Mercado-Bedolla, approaching residents having a party in their yard and looking into vehicles in the neighborhood on August 16. When cops arrived to the scene, near 32nd Street and Gramercy Avenue, around 9pm, they found Mercado-Bedolla near a carport bearing his knife. He then advanced towards officers despite their orders to drop his weapon and stand still. ๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ #shooting
Oregon confirmed a second vaping related death on Wednesday just days after the Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported 215 possible cases of severe lung disease linked to e-cigarettes. The person who died of a severe respiratory illness had used an electronic cigarette containing marijuana oil from a legal dispensary. Its is the second death linked to vaping nationwide and the first tied to a vaping product bought at a cannabis dispensary. Officials have not determined what sickened the middle-aged adult, whether the product was contaminated or whether they may have added something to the liquid in the device after buying it, said Dr Ann Thomas with the Oregon Health Authority. Thomas declined to name the brand of the product or the dispensary during the investigation and said it's the only case of vaping-related illness or death in Oregon that authorities know about. 'Our investigation has not yielded exactly what it is in this product,' Thomas said. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
President Erdogan threatens to 'open the gates' to Europe and unleash another migrant crisis unless Turkey receives support for Syrian refugee 'safe zone'. Turkey, which hosts 3.6 million Syrian refugees, controls parts of north Syria where it says 350,000 Syrians have already returned. It is setting up a 'safe zone' with the United States in the northeast where Erdogan said many more could be moved. 'Our goal is for at least one million of our Syrian brothers to return to the safe zone we will form along our 450 km border,' Erdogan said in a speech in Ankara. The comments come as Turkey mounts pressure on Washington for further concessions on the depth and oversight of the planned safe zone in the northeast, and as it comes under increasing pressure in Syria's northwest Idlib region where a Russian-backed government offensive has pressed north.

Phone numbers linked to more than 400 million Facebook accounts have been posted online in the latest security disaster for the firm. According to TechCrunch, 133 million US accounts, more than 50 million in Vietnam, and 18 million in Britain were among 419 million records left in an open online server that was not secured with a password. This includes, according to the person who unearthed the database, profiles and phone numbers of some celebrities. Facebook has confirmed the report, but said the total number is likely to be around half because of duplicate entries. This latest issue is thought to be from publicly available information previously used to allow people to search for others by using their phone number, which was disabled in April 2018 in response to the Cambridge Analytica scandal. ๐Ÿ˜ก #delete_facebook

Russia's pioneering humanoid robot Fedor has started assisting astronauts on board the International Space Station. Video footage reveals the six-foot tall robot holding a towel and a drill before handing the power tool to an astronaut. The robot was sent into space to learn new skills so that it and others like it can carry out dangerous operations instead of astronauts, such as space walks. Fedor, the nickname of the pioneering robot, stands at six foot tall, weighs 353 pounds and can perform complex movements by mimicking a human on Earth. Roscosmos hopes it will help astronauts carry out tasks remotely. ๐Ÿค– #future
