BREAKING: DC gun permit process slashed to days under Trump federal task force.

The concealed carry permitting process and firearm registration process in the deep blue city have been slashed from months down to days via Trump's Making DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force, which was established via an executive order in March to revitalize the nation's capital.

The working group's work to clean up the city did not include changing local gun laws, but instead streamlines the city's already established process, so law-abiding residents can more easily navigate the firearms system.

Former Lakers forward Christian Wood turned the tables on three would-be burglars during a brazen daytime home invasion in Sherman Oaks. Police say Wood fired three shots into the ground after the suspects broke through the back door, sending them running empty-handed. No one was hurt, but the incident adds to growing concern over violent break-ins across the San Fernando Valley. The suspects remain on the loose as LAPD detectives continue their search.

New details- the carjacker shot and killed by a Texas father after trying to steal his car with his family inside was an illegal alien.

Garland Police tell me 30-year-old Jose Ramirez was here illegally from Mexico. Surveillance footage shows the father parked at a gas station with his family inside the car when a man forcefully tries to get into the driver’s seat, Brooke Taylor reports.

The family, including young children, is then seen scrambling out of the car, and after a struggle, the father shoots and kills him.
