3 people murdered in KZN this weekend.
Farm murder - 27 Aug, 2020 at 2030 - Summerveld, near Hillcrest, KZN - Five attackers forced the door of the farm house open and attacked a couple. The man (63) was assaulted, tied up, then bludgeoned and stabbed repeatedly, he died on the scene. The man had tried in vain to fight off the attackers before he was overpowered. His wife was also assaulted and then tied up.
Later the woman managed to untie her hands, press the panic alarm and crawl outside for help. A neighbour heard her calls and in turn phoned the local security who responded.
The attackers fled after the attack with a television, two cellphones and a firearm.
Police are investigating the attack. There is no other information available at this stage and there have been no arrests.

The #NYPD is looking for the suspect seen in disturbing cellphone video attempting to brazenly rape a woman on a Manhattan subway platform. Police said the "brutal sexual attack" happened as the 25-year-old woman was waiting for a Q train at a station in midtown Saturday morning. Transit Police Chief Edward Delatorre said Sunday on Twitter that officers want to hear from subway riders who intervened, saving the woman from further harm. “We’re seeking the public’s help finding this man, wanted for attempted rape after this brazen and brutal sexual assault yesterday at the 63rd St / Lexington Ave station,” Delatorre said. Florida police shot and killed a man wanted for attempted murder on Saturday after the suspect opened fire on officers, striking one of them during a “gun battle," officials said. The officer was hit in his bullet-proof vest and suffered a bruise to his chest from the impact, Daytona Beach Police Chief Craig Capri told reporters. A second officer tripped during the gunfire and injured his head and neck. Both officers were in “great spirits” at a hospital, according to Capri, and were expected to recover from their injuries.
