It’s not often you see something like this at the terminal. A wild brawl between a traveler and police officers that involved the usage of a Taser was caught on video this week as passengers were waiting to board their flights at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport in Texas. “I really hope that whatever was going on with this guy, it was a moment in time,” John Huston, the bystander who reportedly captured the footage, said in an interview with Fox 4. Police told the station they were called to the airport Thursday afternoon after receiving a report of a man shoving an airline employee. When they arrived, authorities say the suspect — identified as Jerome Toson Jr. — started arguing with the officers and took a swipe at one of them. #taser

Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves declared a state of emergency Saturday amid predictions a river will burst its banks causing the 'third worst flood' in the history of the state as thousands evacuate. Reeves said more than 2,400 homes and other structures in and near Jackson could either be inundated or isolated by the rising waters. He signed an emergency declaration to speed up spending for flood response and recovery. More than 96,000 sandbags had already been distributed by Saturday. Only twice before has the river surpassed 38 feet, including historic floods in 1979 when between $500 million and $700 million worth of damage was caused and 150,000 people were evacuated.💦💦💦

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Department provided a motorcade to accompany Faye's body back to Lexington County following her autopsy Saturday morning. The police escort was pictured accompanying Faye on the entire journey, setting off from MUSC in Charleston at 12 pm and heading to Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington. Lexington Country Coroner Margaret Fisher confirmed the autopsy had been completed, but the results would not be released until Tuesday out of respect for Faye's family. Authorities confirmed on Friday that Faye's body was found in woods between her home in Churchill Heights and a Napa Auto Parts store in Cayce, South Carolina, on Thursday around 11am. The body of a male neighbor, Coty Scott Taylor, 30, was found in his home soon after. Police searching through rubbish trucks found 'a critical piece of evidence' in a trash can belonging to Taylor, who lived about 100 yards away from the little girl's home.
