One year ago, on June 11, 2025, Officer Dustin Krish left Carrollton surrounded by the love of his family, friends, and brothers and sisters in blue.

Yesterday, June 11, 2026, Dustin made his final journey back to the community he loved and faithfully served escorted by his family, Carrollton PD, and law enforcement officers from agencies all across metro Atlanta.

To everyone who has reached out, offered prayers, shared memories, visited the memorial outside the PD, or simply sent messages of love and support....thank you. The Krish family and the Carrollton Police Department are deeply grateful.

This community is nothing short of amazing. Time and again, you have shown what it means to stand beside one another during life's most difficult moments. Your kindness, compassion, support have meant more than words can express. It is an honor and a privilege to serve this community each and every day.

Law enforcement is a family and today was a reminder of just how strong that bond truly is. While we know Dustin went to his eternal home on Tuesday, the journey back to Carrollton today was a reminder of a life well lived, a servant's heart, and a legacy that will never be forgotten.

Please continue to pray as we all prepare to say our goodbyes this weekend.
