Praying for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper who was injured in the line of duty earlier this week🙏🏻

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper was involved in an injury collision while responded to a separate car crash on Monday morning.

According to OHP, the trooper was traveling on SH-9 near Longtown when they were attempting to pass a vehicle on the left.

The vehicle turned into a private drive and struck the trooper's vehicle.

The patrol car rolled before coming to rest and the trooper was pinned inside the vehicle for around 15 minutes.

He was transported to a nearby hospital in stable condition.

Officer Involved Shooting - Sedalia, MO

The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s DDCC  is investigating an officer involved shooting involving a member of Sedalia PD.

A Sedalia officer and suspect were taken to a nearby hospital after a shooting following a domestic violence call.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said officers with the Sedalia Police Department responded at around 9:55 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, to a reported domestic violence incident in the 1000 block of S. Garfield Ave.

When first responders arrived, they indicated that a man had left the home and retreated to a red pickup truck, prompting officers to return to their patrol vehicles as the man fled.
State Troopers noted that a short chase followed south of S. Garfield Ave. At a stop sign, the suspect reversed the truck, striking an officer’s patrol vehicle.
That is when investigators said the officer fired his gun at the suspect.
State Troopers said both the officer and the suspect were transported to a nearby hospital. Their injuries are confirmed to be non-life-threatening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is reviewing the incident. Once the investigation is complete, reports will be forwarded to the Pettis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.

BREAKING: Operation Free MacArthur Park

Federal agents have taken control of MacArthur Park to execute federal arrest and search warrants targeting the notorious open-air drug market there.

We are going after street dealers and suppliers of massive amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine. Over the last 24 hours, federal and local law enforcement have started arresting 25 defendants charged in a federal criminal complaint with possessing and distributing dangerous narcotics, including fentanyl and methamphetamine.

The park’s #1 drug trafficker, a Calabasas resident, is in federal custody and faces possible life imprisonment. The other defendants arrested today also face decades in federal prison.

Along with a recent federal and local takedown of the 18th Street gang, which claims the park’s northern area as its so-called “territory,” today’s enforcement action shows that TheJusticeDept and DEA are determined to fight drug traffickers poisoning our citizens.

New details- the carjacker shot and killed by a Texas father after trying to steal his car with his family inside was an illegal alien.

Garland Police tell me 30-year-old Jose Ramirez was here illegally from Mexico. Surveillance footage shows the father parked at a gas station with his family inside the car when a man forcefully tries to get into the driver’s seat, Brooke Taylor reports.

The family, including young children, is then seen scrambling out of the car, and after a struggle, the father shoots and kills him.

NEW: The 150-year-old Trinity United Church of Christ in Dorseyville, Indiana Township suffered significant damage in a  fire this afternoon, Ricky Sayer reports.

NEW: A Wisconsin police officer was injured last month after a disturbance call at a local business escalated into a violent confrontation that ended with a suspect fleeing the scene in a vehicle.

The incident happened at about 5 p.m. April 18 when an Oak Creek police officer responded to an assistance request at a business after an employee reported a customer causing a disturbance, the department stated in a social media post that includes security and body camera footage. The employee told police the man appeared intoxicated and did not have enough money to pay for his purchase.
According to investigators, the officer tried to resolve the situation after arriving on scene. Police said the suspect, later identified as Antonio McAfee, and a woman with him repeatedly refused commands to remain at the front of their vehicle.
The force of the collision pulled the officer across the hood of his cruiser. McAfee fled the scene. 
The officer suffered injuries to his leg and foot that required medical attention, police said.
