WATCH LIVE: President Donald J. Trump signs bill to end partial government shutdown
POTUS: "I'm thrilled to sign the Consolidated Appropriations Act to immediately reopen the federal government, and fund the vast majority of operations through the rest of the fiscal year."
"This bill is a great victory for the American people. Instead of a bloated and wasteful omnibus monstrosity full of special interest handouts, we've succeeded in passing a fiscally responsible package that actually cuts wasteful federal spending, while supporting critical programs for the safety, security and prosperity of the American people."
POTUS: Finally, I'm extremely proud to announce that this bill includes a newly-designated FLOTUS foster youth to Independence initiative within the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which will support America's foster youth and provide them critical resources as they age out of the foster care system.
This bill:
β Officially ends all taxpayer subsidies for radical, woke programming on NPR and PBS.
β Slashes ~$10B in wasteful foreign aid spending.
β Continues the closure of the wasteful USAID program, instead creating a new America First opportunity fund.
β Cuts funding to abusive, weaponized IRS programs.
β Builds on the Republican rescissions package passed last summer.
β Fully funds our military, including a well-deserved pay raise for all American service members.
β Makes historic investments in American shipbuilding.
β Continues funding deportation flights.
β Continues the historically successful efforts to reduce crime in our nation's capital.
Speaker Johnson: "This is a big thing, Mr. President... and we're spending less money year over year... this is good for the country β and America is back!"
REPORTER: "How was your meeting with Gustavo Petro earlier today and did you come to any agreement on counter-narcotic efforts?"
POTUS: "Yeah, we did β we worked on it, and we got along very well... and we're working on some other things, too, including sanctions."
POTUS: "I want to see elections be honest... take a look at Detroit, take a look at Philadelphia, you go take a look at Atlanta, look at some of the places with horrible corruption on elections β and the federal government should not allow that."
POTUS: "The other thing we can't lose sight of is you probably have, in Minnesota β and it's worse in some places, like California β $19B in fraud, and we're going to find out. We're very deep into that investigation. We're not going to forget that."
POTUS on the disappearance of Savannah Guthrieβs Mother: "I think it's terrible... I'm going to call her later on. I think it's a terrible thing. I always got along very good with Savannah. Very unusual situation but we're going to find out."
POTUS NUKES Kaitlan Collins:
"I've known you for ten years. I don't think I've ever seen a smile on your face. You know why you're not smiling? Because you know you're not telling the truth. You're a very dishonest organization β and they should be ashamed of you." π₯
"See her right there? She never smiles. She's an unhappy person." π€£

Freezing temperatures across the country cannot slow down the USCG.
With some parts of the U.S. dealing with the most ice theyβve seen in a decade, Coast Guard icebreaker crews are hard at work on missions in the Great Lakes, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic waterways to keep commerce moving and ensure American life continues without interruption. These missions will keep commercial goods like food and fuel flowing throughout the country and keep America going.
From lifesaving evacuations to high-seas interdictionsβand now interior icebreaking operationsβthese heroes more than live up to the Coast Guard motto: Semper Paratus, Always Ready.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Retired K9 Ripley.
Born in the Netherlands in 2013, Ripley proudly served the Tampa Police Department from 2014 - 2021, alongside his handler Sgt. Croteau. Their bond went far beyond the call of duty, it was a partnership built through trust, loyalty, and a commitment to serve and protect.
Throughout his career, Ripley was instrumental in more than 200 felony arrests and earned multiple commendations alongside Sgt. Croteau for their outstanding service. In 2017, he was recognized for his courageous role in locating and apprehending a suspect who had fired shots at a Tampa Police officer, an act that exemplified his bravery, discipline, and commitment to protecting others.
After retirement, Ripley faced health challenges with the same strength and resilience he showed throughout his service. He was a loyal partner, fierce protector, and beloved family member.
Rest easy, Ripley. Your service and legacy will never be forgotten.

Hollywood virtue signalling is probably the most insufferable type of progressive activism.
As a group, these are objectively some of the worst people around.
Theyβre sleazy adulterers and addicts. Theyβre lazy, entitled, vain, and materialistic. They have no problem exploiting people whom they view as βbeneath them.β Theyβre largely devoid of actual talent, and are usually the product of nepotism or simply having the right connections.
But every now and then, theyβll put on a badge or do a social media post about an issue they've never thought about for more than 5 minutes, and will therefore think theyβre paragons of virtue and morality.
Itβs just so tiresome. Iβm in no mood to be lectured by beautiful retards who were happy to pal around with the likes of Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein.
They can all STFU.
