ISIS have called for revenge across the world as they claim to be the victims of a 'holocaust' despite painstaking efforts to evacuate thousands of women and children (bottom right) from the siege (left and top right) at Baghouz in eastern Syria. The Syrian Democratic Forces have accused the last desperate militants of using their own women and children as shields as they resumed their shelling on Sunday. But a purported IS audio recording is calling for revenge across the globe as the last desperate fighters claim they are the victims of a 'holocaust.' The minute-and-a half recording, released by IS supporters on social media and reported by the SITE Intelligence Group late on Monday calls 'brothers, in Europe and in the whole world' to 'rise against the Crusaders and ... take revenge for your religion.' ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ”ฅ

Rolling power outages have struck across much of Venezuela since Thursday, crippling the oil-rich but economically troubled country. The blackout out left homes without water and many forced to hunt around the capital of Caracas looking for rivers, drain pipes and even sewers (pictured). The lack of water has become one of the most excruciating side effects of the nationwide blackout that the government of President Nicolas Maduro has blamed on U.S.-backed sabotage but his critics call the product of corruption and incompetence. After six days without electricity to pump water, Venezuelans from working-class neighbourhoods to upscale apartment towers are complaining of increasingly infrequent showers, unwashed dishes, and stinking toilets. Caracas residents could be seen in videos posted online gathering around a sewer pipe collecting water with buckets and bottles to take home to their families.๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ’ง

But as he tried to rotate he fell and the machine landed on top of him. Mr Korovin said he woke up in hospital with five pins sticking out of a broken wrist and a large set of stitches running down the centre of his arm. Thanks to the movement of its Solar Dynamics Observatory combined with that of the moon in orbit, the lunar shadow appears to reverse its direction as the moon travels in front of the sun. The incredible phenomenon popped up in observations captured by SDO on March 6. The sun is currently experiencing a period of unusual 'quiet' as it approaches solar minimum; according to NASA, there were no visible sunspots in February at all. #science

The adorable white Pomeranian smiles as a groomer uses a pair of scissors to snip away its fur in Singapore. It turns into the perfect snowball during the pampering. The dog smiles broadly when the groomer steps back to admire his work. But it looks less sure when its ears are trimmed and imitates a human when it winces and braces for the blades. ๐Ÿ˜‚โ„๏ธ๐Ÿถ

America gets its โ€˜ass handed to itโ€™ in WW3 simulations: U.S. forces are defeated by Russia and China in almost all scenarios, analysts warn.
Nonprofit global policy think tank RAND has been performing simulated war scenarios, often sponsored by the Pentagon, to test how American forces would fare against the world's other leading military superpowers.
Last week, RAND analysts revealed that in scenario after scenario, the US has suffered severe losses despite spending nearly $1trillion annually on the military, exceeding the spending of any other country by more than double. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ”ฅ
