Warning! Graphic content! Red Bluff police released footage of officers #shooting a man holding a pellet gun that they say looked like a real rifle. Joseph Lloyd Thompson, 36, was shot in the upper body at least once by police on Oct. 20, according to Red Bluff Police Chief Kyle Sanders. He said Thompson is still recovering, and no officers involved in the shooting were injured. The incident began around 3:15 p.m. when dispatchers received 911 calls about a man walking around Gilmore Road with what appeared to be an "assault-type rifle."

Facebook and Twitter on early Wednesday warned social media users that President Donald Trump's claims regarding the election results are potentially misleading, including his claim that he had won the election. After the president claimed in a speech around 2:30 a.m. ET that he had won the race and baselessly alleged fraud on the behalf of his opponents, Facebook labeled a video feed featuring those comments. With votes still being counted, no clear winner has been determined at this time. "Final results may be different from initial vote counts, as ballot counting will continue for days or weeks. The company also displayed a post on the top of the Facebook News Feed with clarity about the results: "The winner of the 2020 US President Election has not been projected yet. See the latest vote counts and know what to expect as the process continues." The president's campaign also tweeted footage of the speech. Twitter had not labeled that video as of 3 a.m. Wednesday. Facebook and Twitter did not immediately respond to requests for comment on how they are handling the president's claims regarding the election outcome. Earlier, both companies labeled Trump posts about the election. At 12:47 a.m. on Facebook and at 12:49 a.m. on Twitter, Trump posted, "We are up BIG, but they are trying to STEAL the Election. We will never let them do it. Votes cannot be cast after the Polls are closed!" There is no evidence for the claim that Democrats are attempting to steal the election. There is also no evidence for widespread voter fraud of any kind. Within minutes of the tweet, Twitter labeled it, "Some or all of the content shared in this Tweet is disputed and might be misleading about an election or other civic process." The company also included a link to details about its policy. And within minutes of the Facebook post, the company labeled it, "Final results may be different from initial vote counts, as ballot counting will continue for days or weeks. The security guard caught on video shooting a US Navy veteran at a Denver “Patriot Rally” was released from jail after posting a $500,000 bond, according to a report. Matthew Dolloff, 30, a private security guard hired by a local TV station, had been jailed since the Oct. 10 shooting death of Lee Keltner, a 49-year-old vet who got into a scuffle with Dolloff following a right-wing rally in the Colorado city. Dolloff, who faces murder charges, walked out of jail at 3 p.m. Tuesday after posting the bond, CBS News in Denver reported. The security guard’s lawyer has argued that he acted in self-defense, but a local judge refused to lower the bond amount, the outlet said.

LEE COUNTY, FL – On Saturday, October 31, 2020, members of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit were responding to a call in Central District when a trick-or-treater shined a green laser light into the cockpit of the helicopter. With the help of the Forward Looking Infared (FLIR) camera, the Tactical Flight Officer (TFO) was able to locate where the laser light was coming from. Aviation deputies observed three individuals walking through a neighborhood and intentionally pointing a laser at the helicopter. The pilot and TFO tracked the subjects and advised LCSO ground units they were standing in a driveway getting candy at 6190 Arbor Avenue. Patrol deputies quickly responded and took Xavier Satchell, 18, Adam Schlesier, 40, and a 15 year old juvenile named Alexander, into custody and charged them with Misuse of a Laser, which is a third-degree felony.

A Massachusetts State Police trooper is out of a job for allegedly hurling racial slurs during an off-duty confrontation with a driver, department officials said. The rookie trooper, who was not identified, was fired Tuesday for “unacceptable conduct” over an encounter with a motorist last weekend in Revere, department officials said in a statement. The incident — which allegedly included the use of racial slurs — took place on Revere Beach Boulevard, state police said. The race of neither the trooper nor the driver involved was disclosed by authorities. The trooper, who graduated from his recruiting class in May, had been assigned to the Danvers barracks and was still in his one-year probationary period, Mason said. State police also referred the matter to Attorney General Maura Healy for a review of any potential civil or criminal action, department officials said. #facepalm

The Phoenix Police Department released a Critical Incident Briefing video that includes audio, visuals and information related to an officer-involved #shooting which occurred on the night of October 20, 2020 at about 8:45 p.m. in the area of Indian School Road & 22nd Street. The incident began when a woman called 911 and said that she barricaded herself in her room out of fear that her son, Emmett Cocreham (44 years old), would hurt and kill her. During the call, the woman said police have responded to her house several times in the past regarding the actions of her two adult sons. The other son being George Cocreham (43 years old).Before officers arrived, the woman warned the 911 operator that her sons would try to attack the officers. (Read the full story.)

Philadelphia Police: On Saturday October 31, 2020 at 3:10PM, two unknown black males entered ACE Check Cashing located at 5045 Wayne Avenue as the business was closing up. The offenders forced the employee back behind the counter. One of the suspects stated to the victim, "We're not going to hurt you, we're just doing bad right now and we need the money." The suspects initially wanted the employee to open the safe which triggered the alarm. The offenders then took $569 from the cash drawer and fled the area on foot northbound Manheim St. The vicitm suffered a minor injury as a result of this robbery.

Suspect #1: Black male, 35-40 years old, heavy build, light complexion, large nose, wearing a greenish/gray hoody with dark sleeves and hood, dark ski mask, faded pants and black sneakers.
Suspect #2: Black male, 30-35 years old, stocky build, medium complexion, wearing a royal blue hooded jacket with red/white stripes on both sleeves, dark pants, dark sneakers and dark red colored mask covering the lower half of his face.
