Pasco police release video showing footage from officer body cameras during a May shootout with cousins who were murder suspects. Juan Montalvo died and Miguel Montalvo was wounded during the incident. Pasco Police Chief Ken Roske introduced the 11-minute video, describing it as a “critical incident update” on the May 17 officer-involved #shooting. An investigation into the officers’ actions is being handled by the Special Investigations Unit, or SIU, which is a regional team of detectives. ROCKWALL, Texas -- A Rockwall police officer died due to complication from COVID-19 on Monday. Officer Tracy Gaines was admitted to a local hospital on July 11 and underwent various treatments, according to a news release. Gaines joined the Rockwall Police Department in September 2005 and most recently served as a School Resource Officer at Rockwall High School. During his career, he also served as an SRO at Williams Middle School and was a Field Trianing Officer in the Patrol Division as well. Gaines also had a distinguished military career, serving 20 years with the Air Force before becoming a police officer. "The Rockwall Police Department is grateful for the incredible outpouring of support for his wife and two sons," the department said in a statement. Donations to assist Gaines' family financially can be made at www.atodallas.org. Funeral arrangements are pending. #RIP

WANTED! A pair of gunmen are being sought in New York City after they were caught firing at a green Mustang in broad daylight over the weekend. Video surveillance footage released by the New York Police Department recorded two men opening fire near 142nd Street and Lenox Avenue on a Ford Mustang, which was speeding down the street at about 7:10 a.m. Sunday. The pair are apparently seen running to get into position to fire as the muscle car speeds by. They opened fire and fled in a silver sedan. It was not clear if anyone was injured by the gunfire.
