Meanwhile, in UK. The Prime Minister has been involved in a car crash outside Parliament. Boris Johnson was in a car leaving via the gates of the Palace of Westminster and onto Parliament Square when a protester ran out into the road to attack the Prime Minister's convoy. The driver of the car was seen to hit the brakes suddenly to avoid the demonstrator, causing the security detail in a Range Rover following behind to crash into the back of the vehicle. Both cars left the scene quickly, with a visible dent in the back of Mr Johnson's Jaguar. Photographs from the scene show a man being tackled to the ground and detained by several police officers.
The U.S. Supreme Court granted a reprieve to a Texas inmate scheduled to die for fatally stabbing an 85-year-old woman more than two decades ago, continuing a more than four-month delay of executions in the nation's busiest death penalty state during the coronavirus pandemic. The U.S. Supreme Court blocked Ruben Gutierrez's execution about an hour before he could have been executed. Gutierrez's attorneys had argued his religious rights are being violated because the prison system won't allow a chaplain to accompany him in the death chamber. The Texas prison system last year banned clergy from the death chamber following a Supreme Court ruling that halted the execution of another inmate, Patrick Murphy, who had requested a Buddhist adviser be allowed in the chamber. In response to the ruling in Murphy's case, the Texas prison system changed its policy to no longer allow clergy in the death chamber and that only prison security staff would be allowed into the execution chamber. #FUCK_LUCKY
For weeks, a black-and-white American flag with a blue stripe down the middle stood above the New Jersey Turnpike. The flag, posted on an overpass in Woodbridge Township, appeared this spring, residents say. Now, some are relieved that it has been removed. Residents who objected to the โ€œthin blue lineโ€ flag says its message stands in opposition to the fight against systemic racism. Those who use the flag say it is a way to support police. But the image has come to be associated with the #BlueLivesMatter movement, whose very formation was a response to the Black Lives Matter movement. Now, Woodbridge residents are petitioning the mayor and town council to remove the blue line that runs down Main Street. Residents who marched the street June 7 for a Black Lives Matter protest say police told them to stay on the right side of the line. Town officials say the blue line is intended to be a show of support for police.

A view of a joint liaison office with South Korea in border town Kaesong, North Korea before the building was destroyed. The joint liaison office with South Korea explodes in the North Korean border town Kaesong, June 16. The joint liaison office was set up on the North Korean side of the border as part of a 2018 peace agreement between the two countries' leaders. Tension had been rising this month with North Korea threatening to cut ties with South Korea and retaliate over North Korean defectors in the South sending propaganda leaflets - by balloon or by sea - into North Korea.

DA charges cop who shot Rayshard Brooks with multiple felonies. It is certain that if this was a black cop or a white perpetrator, none of this would be happening.
