The number of cases across the country continued to increase on Wednesday with an Amazon employee at the company's Seattle headquarters - which is just 12 miles from the outbreak nursing home - testing positive for coronavirus. Amazon confirmed that the employees had tested positive for coronavirus after going home sick from work on February 25. Amazon spokeperson told: 'We're supporting the affected employee who is in quarantine.' The internal email sent to Amazon employees in Seattle and nearby Bellvue said that any employees who had been 'in close contact' with the infected worker were notified separately. The email instructed employees experiencing symptoms to stay at home and seek medical attention. Amazon has more than 50,000 employees in Seattle and more than 275,000 full-time workers across the U.S. Last week, Amazon became one of the first U.S. companies to crack down on employee travel due to the outbreak, banning all 'non-essential' work trips.
It comes as the US death toll from the COVID-19 #coronavirus rose to 11 on Wednesday and the number of confirmed cases across the country surpassed 150.

Poland is literally epic. Almost 90% of polish citizens want ZERO migration according to PEW Research. If you say you support ‘democracy,’ you have to support their decision, otherwise you’re a hypocrite.

Meanwhile in China ...
A cruise ship that previously carried two passengers who contracted coronavirus, including one who died, is now being held 400 miles off the California coast after at least 20 people onboard fell ill. Thousands of passengers are currently on the Grand Princess cruise ship that was banned on Wednesday from returning to its home port of San Francisco from a voyage to Hawaii amid the suspected coronavirus outbreak. Two passengers who traveled on the same ship on a previous voyage last month between San Francisco and Mexico later fell ill and tested positive for the #coronavirus. Eleven passengers and 10 crew members who are currently on the same ship have now reported symptoms that could turn out to be the coronavirus, seasonal flu or the common cold. Sixty two passengers who were on the previous Mexican cruise where the two cases were detected remained on the ship for the Hawaii voyage as well.

(WARNING: 21+) The San Diego Police Department released body camera and smart streetlight footage Wednesday from an Oak Park foot chase that ended when an officer shot and killed the suspect while reportedly struggling with him on Jan. 24, the department confirmed.…
Two police officers were driving in the area on patrol when they noticed Diller “acting erratically while holding the open container,” according to SDPD.
In the video, SDPD Officers Devion Johnson and Benjamin Downing pull over on a nearby frontage road near Diller for an enforcement stop and exit the vehicle. One of the officers shouts, “Hold up. Stop. Stop. Police!,” as Diller runs away into traffic lanes of 54th Street.
As Downing emerges through some bushes, his body cam footage shows Johnson struggling with Diller on the ground in the middle of the street.
The officers order Diller to remain on the ground and Diller continues to struggle with them, police said.
Soon after, Downing tells Johnson that the suspect has Downing's gun.
Police later reported Diller began pulling at Downing's service weapon and ended up ripping the gun and holster off of his belt.
