LEFTISTS ARE MELTING DOWN over reports that ICE agents may soon be equipped with ELECTRIC-SHOCK GLOVES. The irony is that the SAME PEOPLE who condemn force against violent criminals are now outraged over a tool designed to help officers control dangerous confrontations.
The Department of Homeland Security is planning to spend between $10 million and $20 million on specialized gloves that can deliver electrical pulses through direct contact with a subject’s skin.
The devices can produce up to 380 volts and are designed to disrupt coordinated movement during a physical struggle. The manufacturer says they typically bring a resistant subject into compliance within THREE SECONDS.
Civil rights groups and Democratic officials are already furious.
The gloves have strict limitations. No more than two should be used on one person at a time, and the manufacturer generally limits activation to 15 seconds.
Law-enforcement officers are being attacked, dragged by vehicles and forced into dangerous physical confrontations while carrying out immigration arrests.
Giving them another tool to end those struggles quickly could protect everyone involved.

“After years of enduring severe pain from a broken back… I learned UnitedHealthcare would hold an investors conference…”
Mangione said the exact location was not publicly disclosed, so he researched it online. In November 2024, he traveled from outside New York to Manhattan and emailed UnitedHealthcare leadership posing as an investor, requesting information about the conference and got an immediate response.
“Before traveling to New York, I used a 3-D printer to make a gun. I traveled to New York with the intent to shoot Brian Thompson. On the morning of Dec. 4, 2024, I shot Mr. Thompson in Manhattan… I knew what I was doing.”

Hundreds of family members, friends and supporters gathered in New Haven, Missouri, on Thursday to welcome an injured Hermann police officer and his wife to their new home.
The mortgage-free, specially adapted smart home was built by the Gary Sinise Foundation for Adam and Michelle Sullentrup.
As the couple took in the celebration, Michelle Sullentrup reflected on the event.
The home dedication was three years in the making.
In March 2023, Sullentrup and his partner, Hermann Detective Sgt. Mason Griffith, were shot while responding to a call. Griffith was killed. Sullentrup survived a traumatic brain injury that affected his mobility and speech.
On Thursday, Adam summed up what the new home means to him.

Longtime Johnston County Sheriff’s Office Jail Captain Bonnie Strickland passed away yesterday, August 12th. Captain Strickland was hired in 1991 under Sheriff Freddie Narron and retired on April 1, 2014.
During her exemplary career, she served as a Detention Officer, Sergeant, Captain, Assistant Jail Administrator, and retired as Jail Administrator in 2014 under Sheriff Steve Bizzell. Bonnie’s loyalty, dedication, and strong work ethic at the Johnston County Jail will always be remembered. Bonnie took great pride in her work throughout the years, and though tough at times, she gained respect from inmates with her compassion and caring demeanor while they were under her care.
Bonnie was truly a part of our Sheriff’s Office family, and she will be greatly missed."

HERO ALERT: UC Davis student Lillie Vehling was reading beside Lake Washington when she spotted three young girls fighting to stay above the water.
Vehling is a trained lifeguard and an attacker on the UC Davis women’s water polo team.
She immediately jumped in.
Vehling brought the first two girls to safety one at a time. When she returned for the third child, the girl was unconscious and tangled in a buoy rope with barely the top of her hair visible.
Vehling freed her, lifted her head above the water and pulled her back toward shore.
The child regained consciousness. All three girls SURVIVED.
Seafair later honored Vehling as the “Lady Guardian of Lake Washington.”
“...I didn’t think twice about myself,” she said.
Vehling is an engineering student pursuing a future connected to the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program. Her father is a Los Angeles firefighter captain.
Courage runs in this family.
