This is HEARTBREAKING.
A Wisconsin mother has pleaded guilty after police said she repeatedly failed to protect her children from abuse and turned up the music to drown out their cries rather than calling for help.
Charlotte Kurek acknowledged that Devario Cruz, her boyfriend and the father of 4-year-old Dante Campbell, could be βheavy-handedβ with the children, yet authorities say she never reported him to police.
According to the criminal complaint, Kurek watched Cruz abuse the children without calling law enforcement or even threatening to call in an attempt to make him stop, leading investigators to conclude that she appeared to care more about protecting Cruz than protecting her own children.
On October 18, 2025, Cruz found Dante unresponsive in bed and reportedly told Kurek, βI donβt think he is alive, I think he is dead.β Although Kurek began screaming and said they needed to go to the hospital, authorities say neither adult immediately called 911. Instead, they waited more than an hour, loaded Dante into a vehicle and drove to a friendβs home to drop off his twin sister while leaving three other children home alone. Kurek called 911 only after that detour, and Dante was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
The couple initially claimed that Dante had fallen down a flight of stairs and that bicycles and other objects had landed on him, but investigators did not believe his injuries matched that explanation. Kurek later admitted that she had lied, while Danteβs twin sister was found with a swollen eye, scratches and bruises across her body. When police asked the little girl what had happened, she reportedly answered,
βDaddy hurt me.β
A mother knew her children were being hurt, heard their cries and chose to make the music louder instead of calling police. Now one child is gone, another was allegedly found showing signs of abuse, and Kurek has finally admitted her criminal failure to protect them.
What sentence would be enough for that level of vile apathy?
Read the full story at the link below and tell us what could possibly be just in a case like this.

π¨ DEVELOPING: Flash Flood Emergency out for northern Knott County, Kentucky, covering Mousie, Vest, Handshoe, Bolyn, and the surrounding communities.
Law enforcement has already reported flooding on the ground with 2.5 to 4 inches of rain down and a bit more on the way, so if you're in that area, get to higher ground right now. Please don't drive through flooded roads tonight, it's too dark to judge how deep that water really is.

βWhy wouldnβt Tucker push back with Hunter Biden?β
John Paul Isaac:
βWhy didnβt Shawn Ryan push back? Why didnβt Candace Owens push back?β
π» My Thoughts:
This is where it trips me up⦠all of them were very soft on Hunter⦠none of them asked any real hard questions. All interviews were total PR love fests. It was disgustful. It looked bad. It looked coordinated.
