Praying for the Las Vegas police officer and paramedic who were injured in the line of duty overnight.🙏🏻

A Las Vegas police officer and a paramedic were injured Wednesday night when they were struck by a suspected impaired driver in a hit-and-run crash in the northwest valley, authorities said.

According to a text message from Metro Lt. Robert Johnson, the driver struck the officer and paramedic in a parking lot near North Decatur Boulevard and West Lake Mead Boulevard just before 8 p.m. Wednesday. Both were taken to a local hospital.

The injuries are not life-threatening, Johnson said. An ambulance and a Metro patrol vehicle were damaged in the crash.

Commotion erupted at a Ralphs grocery store in Los Angeles after two foos were allegedly caught stealing items at a self checkout station. Store employees, along with security, stepped in and confronted them before escorting them out of the building. As the situation escalated, one of the “foos” suddenly threw a punch at the store security guard, triggering a brief physical confrontation outside of the store .
