Two attempted murders on police officers and now a policeman murdered all within a week, this isn't the country I was raised in, this isn't the country my grandfather and his father before him marched off to war to defend, these aren't the people I want to breathe the same air as, I don't recognise my country, I don't share the same values and moral code of one who would attempt to kill and even proceed to kill an officer of the law, there is no Great Britain anymore.
North Korea fires two more 'nightmare' missiles into the sea as expert warns of Kim's 'serious and impressive' advancements in rocket power with latest tests. The South Korean military said the projectiles were fired from near the city of Tongchon of Kangwon Province into the East Sea, also known as the Sea of Japan. It was the sixth round of launches since last month, with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un labelling them a 'solemn warning' over US-South Korean joint military drills that began earlier this month. North Korea has always been infuriated by the war games, decrying them as rehearsals for invasion. 🚀😱

(WARNING 21+) The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Department released body-camera footage Wednesday from an officer involved shooting in Santa Rosa earlier this month that left a man injured. The shooting occurred on Aug. 1 after the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Brad Baymon, allegedly stole a pair of shoes from Macy’s in the city’s downtown plaza and tried to stab loss prevention officers at the store. He was later approached by a Sonoma sheriff’s deputy who tried to make contact with him. The deputy later used a taser on Baymon twice — but the weapon had no effect. Video release shows the suspect walking away as the officer tased him. Police said the suspect then headed toward the deputy’s patrol car. The car was running, according to police, and inside the trunk was the deputy’s rifle. 🔫👮🏻‍♂️ #shooting

Hong Kong's richest man, Li Ka-shing, has bought the front-page advertisements of the city's major newspapers to urged people to 'love China, love Hong Kong and love yourself' in a bid to calm the escalating crisis. Meanwhile, the city is bracing for another weekend of rallies and activists have called the public to withdraw as much money as possible from the banks to warn Beijing about the city's importance as a global financial hub. Across the border in mainland China's Shenzhen, People's Liberation Army (PLA) units, were seen rehearsing again today amid fears of military crackdown. Sources within the Hong Kong police, however, said yesterday there would be no need for any intervention from Beijing because they had enough resources to keep battling activists. 👮🏻‍♂️
