(WARNING 21+) Seattle Police Force Investigation Team detectives and the King County Sheriff’s Office are conducting separate investigations into a fatal officer-involved shooting that occurred in the 600 block of 3rd Avenue West just after 7 p.m. Wednesday evening. West Precinct patrol officers responded to a 911 call from a woman reporting her boyfriend had armed himself with a knife and was trying to assault her. The victim told 911 operators she was hiding in the bathroom and the suspect was still in the apartment. Officers arrived and confronted the suspect.
