LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva: No I’m not “The Singing Sheriff”, but I was out with the LASD HOST Deputies and came across a homeless musician who is a U.S. military veteran. As Sheriff, it is important to get to know our community members and get them the help they need to get them back on their feet.

Law enforcement chaplaincy is recognized nationally as a practical, supportive resource and support group for law enforcement personnel and their families during difficult times.
