We are saddened to post, one of our #PHXPD retired K9’s “Blitz” passed away on August 9th. Blitz was 13 ½ years old and worked the streets of Phoenix with his handler, Officer Dewell, from 2011 to 2015.

Our hearts go out to Officer Dewell and his family. 💙

While searching for a suspect, officers noticed multiple dogs living in deplorable conditions. Phoenix PD contacted the Arizona Humane Society and rescued the dogs.
