Riot police surround a young boy

At 21:47 at the intersection of Waterloo Road and Nathan Road, more than 10 riot police stopped and surrounded a young boy. Citizens across the street screamed "corrupted cops!"

Around 70 police are seen in the area.

Police Made Arrests Outside Grand Plaza and Langham Place

At 00:11, around 30 'raptor' squad members chase after citizens at the intersection of Grand Plaza and Langham Place. Police made respective arrests next to the two buildings.

At 00:16, another team of riot police enter Portland Street from Argyle Street.

Police Target Young People to Conduct Search

Riot police targeted a young man and intimated him, "You asked us to come? Donโ€™t you move!โ€ A while later, when the young man thought he was let go, a group of riot police suddenly ran towards him and surrounded him.

Police kept shining strong light at onlookers to prevent them from seeing and filming while other police treated the young person rudely and searched his bag. Passersby kept shouting at the police, โ€Let him go!โ€ The boy was at last released.

Riot police stormed in and occupied Edinburgh Place in Central, a financial district in Hong Kong. At 17:24, police announced the rally terminated and the activities at scene were then "unlawful assembly".

The Rally in Support of Uyghurs Human Rights had previously obtained the Letter of No Objection from the Police. The rally was planned until 18:00.

Today is the 7th month of the Police attack of train passengers at Prince Edward Station on August 31, 2019. Many civilians went to Prince Edward metro station to present flowers to mourn the victims of police violence.

The police seemed to feel agitated even by a memorial activities. A large number of police were stationed along the Nathan Road from Mong Kok to Prince Edward, intercepting young people on the street.

Combining various sources, there were more than 200 riot police in Prince Edward District alone, not to mention many other plainclothes officers.

Hong Kong Police Suppressing Assembly of All Formats

Police set up cordon on Great George Street and dispersed citizens in a shopping district on Sunday.

Moments later, police pushed forward to Sogo Department Store, a popular Japanese Department Store where an anniversary was taking place.

Riot police raised blue warning flags several times right outside of Sogo, insisting that the citizens on site are participating in an illegal public assembly/parade, making them liable to arrest.

On the eve of the promulgation of the National Security Law, police in Hong Kong is already suppressing any form of assembly.

6 tear gas rounds were fired in Wan Chai and, the police closed in on the protestors, who were now gathered in SOGO shopping mall, surrounding them. Yet they still stood their ground.

A policeman holding a gun had a quarrel with Legislative Councillor Ted Hui. The policeman was agitated, shouting and pointing his finger at Hui, who comforted him and asked him to calm down.

According to Hui, the police arrested district councilor Ip Kam-lung, who was trying to separate a civilian and a policeman charging forward. The police violently pinned Ip down with the knee.

In addition to Ip, another district councilor Li Chi-wang was arrested around Canal Road Flyover.
