#BonnyFire - The fire is 500 acres and 10% contained. All evacuation orders & evacuation warnings remain in place.

#SunsetFire - The fire remains at 103 acres and is 70% contained. Evacuation warnings & road closures remain in place.

#BonnyFire [UPDATE] 3:00 p.m. - The fire is currently 1,200 acres and 5% contained. 

One outbuilding and one vehicle have been destroyed in the fire.  All EVACUATION ORDERS remain in place.

#BonnyFire July 30, 2023 Operational Update - Deputy Operations Chief Robert Peterson and Jeff LaRusso, Public Information Officer with the Riverside County All Hazard Incident Management Team provide an update on the work being done by firefighters.

#BonnyFire [UPDATE] The fire is now 2,305 acres and 20% contained.

Firefighters continued constructing handline around the fire perimeter, with no significant fire growth throughout the night. Unburned brush within the fire perimeter continues to be a threat to containment lines.

Extremely steep and rugged terrain remains a challenge. Current weather patterns and a chance of thunderstorms through Tuesday could increase the risk of erratic fire behavior.

Firefighters will work to keep fire spread minimal throughout the day, cooling hot spots and constructing containment line around the fire perimeter.
