Chances of developing psychosis are enhanced five times by smoking high-potency marijuana daily, a new study suggests.
The study from King's College London studied 901 people who had been diagnosed as having a first episode of psychosis at sites across Europe and Brazil between 2010 and 2015. When marijuana use was compared with a group of 1,200 patients deemed healthy, it was found that daily marijuana use was heavier among those who were encountering the psychiatric disorder.

A Senegalese man abducted 51 children when he hijacked an Italian school bus and set the vehicle alight in a protest over migrant deaths in the Mediterranean. Ousseynou Sy, originally Senegalese but with Italian citizenship, stopped the bus he was driving, with two classes of high school students on board. He was said to have ordered the children's hands to be bound and threatened to kill them and himself during the drive, before setting the vehicle on fire when he was stopped by a police blockade today. Officers broke the glass in the back door of the bus and got all the passengers to safety without serious injury before the flames destroyed the vehicle, authorities said. 😱👮🏻‍♂️

Robbery Suspect Gets Shot by Cop After Reaching For His Gun. On March 16, 2019 at approximately 9:37 p.m., LVMPD Dispatch received a call of an armed robbery to a business located at 8010 S. Eastern Avenue. A male, later identified as 20-year-old Steven Aguirre, entered a business and robbed the employees at gunpoint. He then fled on foot carrying a cash register drawer. At approximately 10:17 p.m., officers located Aguirre at the corner of Fountain Heights Lane and Robindale Road. Officers issued verbal commands to Aguirre at gunpoint. The officers saw a firearm in a holster on his right hip and told Aguirre not to touch it. Officers commanded Aguirre to turn away from them and get down on his knees and he complied. As Aguirre was on the ground, he attempted to stand up and began pulling his firearm out of the holster. Officer Darko Milanovic fired one round, striking Aguirre. Officers approached and immediately rendered medical aid. 🔫👮🏻‍♂️ #shooting

In the clip, filmed in the Dayton suburb of Trotwood, Ohio, a Pontiac can be seen smashing into the side of an RTA bus on March 10. A passenger sat just behind the impact point is flung forward from her seat before falling to the other side of the bus as it overturns. The bus driver can be seen pulling herself up from her seat and asking passengers 'are you guys okay?' All three people inside the car died after the crash. Front seat passenger Mya'Nie Nabors, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene and Kyren Wright, 18, died at a local hospital. Driver Christopher Baker, 18, initially survived the crash and was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but he died three days later.😱
