Underneath, he was wearing a black t-shirt with a graphic on the front, and armed with a black semiautomatic handgun with a gold barrel.

Law enforcement in Chicago has released a surveillance video showing a retired Chicago Fire Department lieutenant fighting back against three suspects who were attempting to steal his car before he was fatally shot last week. The Chicago Police Department has identified the firefighter as 65-year-old Dwain Williams. The fatal shooting took place around 2 p.m. last Thursday, Dec. 3, in the 2400 block of West 118th Street in Chicago’s Beverly Woods neighborhood. Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying the suspects. Several organizations are offering reward money for information leading to an arrest of the suspects involved. Los Angeles: On Monday, December 7, 2020, around 6:35 a.m., a 29-year-old motorcyclist riding a 2003 Yamaha 600R, was killed following a hit and run traffic collision in Rampart Area. The collision occurred when the driver of a passenger van made an illegal U-turn directly in the path of the motorcyclist on Glendale Boulevard, just south of Reservoir Street. The driver of the van stopped briefly then fled southbound from the scene and failed to identify himself or render aid as required by law. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a local hospital in critical condition. Despite lifesaving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
