Firefighters defend homes in Orchard Hills from the advancing Silverado Fire fueled by Santa Ana Winds

Two arrested after setting police cruiser on fire. While conducting patrol along Bay to Bay Bl W, officers witnessed the defendants riding bicycles without lights. He located them behind a closed business at Manhattan Av S / Bay to Bay Bl W where a stop was conducted. While speaking with the defendants, the officers smelled a fire in the area. Officers located a TPD cruiser in the parking lot of Shoresh David Messianic Synagogue of Tampa (across the street) . The vehicle's front passenger window was smashed, and the front passenger seat was engulfed in fire. During the investigation, both defendants were found to have prior arson arrests.

Warning! Graphic content! Philadelphia Police fatally shot a man armed with a knife on the city’s Westside Monday. Police say they responded to the location for a domestic incident when they encountered the suspect. The unidentified man was given multiple commands to drop the knife but refused, police say. As he continued to walk toward the officers, he was shot multiple times. The incident was captured on video. #shooting
