The San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office released video from a #shooting their deputies were involved in. The shooting happened on July 23, at the Days Inn Hotel on Waterloo Road in Stockton. In the video narrated by Sheriff Patrick Withrow, he said his deputies were responding to a call of a man walking in a hotel hallway while holding a gun. When deputies saw the man, they also saw the gun, gave verbal commands and then shot him, according to Sheriff Withrow. The man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at approximately 5:04 a.m., the GBI was requested by the Milledgeville Police Department to conduct an officer involved #shooting investigation at Oconee Greenway Park in Milledgeville, Baldwin County, GA. Preliminary information indicates at approximately 1:40 a.m., a burglary occurred at the Jet #61 gas station, which is located on North Columbia Street in Milledgeville. A BOLO was issued for the vehicle shortly after the burglary. At approximately 4:00 a.m., a Milledgeville PD officer recognized the vehicle matching the BOLO at the Jet #29 gas station, which is located on E. Hancock Street in Milledgeville. Looting has started in Lancaster at Villa athletic store approximately 1 hour 50 minutes ago according to the shop owner. Groups of rioters are roaming the city breaking windows and stealing merchandise. It was too dangerous to follow them since there are no police. Meanwhile, cops are driving around, jumping out, running full speed at rioters and arresting them using marked vans. Several people were arrested. The police said they were targeting specific individuals who they ID’d committed crimes throughout the night.
Portland Police Press Release: A suspect was arrested after using a Molotov Cocktail to start a small brush fire. On Sunday, September 13, 2020 at 4:35p.m., East Precinct officers were dispatched to assist Portland Fire and Rescue with a brush fire in the 9600 block of East Burnside Street. Officers saw that a section of grass along the I-205 freeway was burning. Firefighters extinguished the fire. No one was injured and no structures were damaged. About an hour later, East officers were flagged down by a witness who pointed out the suspect in a nearby tent. Officers arrested the suspect, who confirmed he lit the fire with the device. Officers seized a plastic bottle with a wick as evidence. Officers booked Domingo Lopez Jr., 45, into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Reckless Burning and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree. Arson investigators are also doing follow-up to see if other charges are warranted. #Oregonfires
