Meanwhile, in UK. Horrifying video footage appears to show the moment a man is stabbed in the street following a car crash. Police closed off Gale Street in Dagenham, east London, after they were called to the scene at around 6pm on Monday night.
Reports say two cars collided that evening and a man in one of the vehicles was then stabbed. Mobile phone footage, which is believed to be related to the incident, shows two men in an altercation as the woman filming says, 'What the f***, he's stabbing him!' The men then clear the scene, and shortly after a man in a balaclava is seen approaching the crashed white car with what appears to be a knife in his hand. He seems to slash the vehicle's tyres as another man then approaches and kicks the car before the clip ends.

Deltona, Florida — On Sunday morning (8/16/20), a blue Honda hatchback fled from a Daytona Beach Shores Department of Public Safety officer who attempted a traffic stop for speeding. The vehicle also fled from the Port Orange Police Department and the Daytona Beach Police Department en route to I-4, where it was spotted by Air One overhead. After fleeing across I-4 toward Deltona, the driver lost control of the car, which had deflated tires due to successful stop stick deployments. The car crashed into a ditch, and the driver, Kevin Morales, 24, was taken into custody, charged with multiple counts of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, reckless driving, no valid DL, and attaching a tag not assigned. There were no injuries in the crash, and Morales' passenger was released with no charges. #pursuit

Two 13-year-old boys running a lemonade stand in suburban Illinois have been robbed at gunpoint by two other teenagers who made off with $30 in profits. Surveillance video captured the moment Jude Peterson and his friend were robbed outside his home in Peoria…
Two Illinois teenagers who were running a lemonade stand were robbed at gunpoint, and local police stepped in to replenish the stolen funds. Earlier this month Jude Peterson and his friend Tristan Charbonnel, both 13, set up a lemonade stand in Peterson’s Peoria neighborhood when police said two people, one of which had a gun, robbed the stand and the incident was reportedly caught by a neighbor’s surveillance camera. When people in the neighborhood learned of what had happened, they reportedly stopped by the lemonade stand to donate money and items, including candy and potato chips, to sell. Chief Loren Marion with the Peoria Police Department said that the community policing sergeant with his department “came up with the idea after the incident happened to do a fund-raiser for the kids.”

Mutinous soldiers arrested Mali's president on Tuesday after storming the West African country's capital, where protesters filled the streets demanding new leadership at a time of rising extremism and economic turmoil. The head of the African Union Commission and West African leaders condemned the uprising, calling for the swift release of President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta, as well as the nation's prime minister and other top officials. The 15-country regional bloc known as ECOWAS urged the military to “return to their positions without delay” after a day of chaos in Bamako that included gunfire, blocked roads and burning houses. Tens of thousands of Malians have flooded the capital of the West African nation in recent months, accusing Keïta of botching the response to a fast-spreading Islamist insurgency while allowing the nation’s economy to crumble.
