More details released in shooting that wounded three Chicago police officers, the Officer reported. Three Chicago police officers and a suspect in a carjacking were injured in an exchange of gunfire outside a Northwest Side police station Thursday morning, apparently after the suspect concealed a weapon during his arrest. The sources said the 25-year-old suspect, who had just been arrested and was handcuffed, opened fire on an officer who opened the rear door of his police vehicle when they arrived at the station to transfer him to a lockup.
Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has had his death sentence overturned by a federal appeals court after his lawyers successfully argued some jurors had already decided he was guilty before his trial had even started. The three-judge panel of the 1st US Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston issued the decision on Friday more than six months after arguments were heard in the case. Tsarnaev, who was 19 at the time, and his older brother Tamerlan set off a pair of homemade pressure-cooker bombs near the Boston Marathon finish line in 2013 in an attack that killed three people and injured more than 260 others. A federal jury in 2015 found Tsarnaev guilty of all 30 counts he faced and later determined he deserved execution for a bomb he planted that killed two of the victims.

WARNING GRAPHIC! (21+) Meanwhile, in Ukraine ... ๐Ÿ‘ป
Three people have been arrested and charged in a massive Twitter breach earlier this month that affected dozens of high-profile users. Graham Ivan Clark, 17, was arrested on Friday in Tampa after a federal investigation zeroed in on him, and faces 30 felony charges that will be prosecuted in state court. The Hillsborough State Attorney's Office called Clark the 'mastermind' of the July 15 breach, which saw famous Twitter accounts hijacked and used to plead for donations of bitcoin to a wallet controlled by the attacker. Authorities say that the hackers behind the attack netted more than $100,000 in bitcoin through the illegal scheme. Also on Friday, federal prosecutors announced charges against two alleged co-conspirators: Mason 'Chaewon' Sheppard, 19, of Bognor Regis in the United Kingdom, and Nima 'Rolex' Fazeli, 22, of Orlando, Florida.
