A New York state woman accused of tossing a Molotov cocktail at a New York City police van during a George Floyd protest in May pleaded not guilty Friday. Samantha Shader, 27, of Saugerties, could get 20 years in prison if convicted on all seven charges against her. Four police officers were inside the van when Shader allegedly threw the crude explosive device, which shattered two of the van’s windows, the report said. Shader initially told investigators that a Black protester had handed her the device but that account was discredited after police intercepted a note to Shader from a friend that implied he had supplied the bomb. That friend, identified as Timothy Amerman, 29, also from Saugerties, was arrested and charged in connection with the van incident and was freed on bond July 6 pending further court action, the report said. He could get 10 years in prison. Shader was being held in a Brooklyn jail and is due to return to court Aug. 11.
A legally armed man shot and killed a gunman in Brownsburg, Ind., this week after a fatal unprovoked shooting, saving a second victim's life in the process. The 22-year-old suspect, Joshua Christopher Hayes, allegedly attacked two men as they were working in the Brownsburg Cemetery. Without provocation, Hayes allegedly chased 36-year-old worker Seth Robertson out into an intersection, where he shot and killed him. As Hayes was chasing the second cemetery worker, one of his bullets whizzed into the vehicle of an unidentified good Samaritan who was stopped at a red light near the intersection, injuring him, Ind Star reported. That man stepped out of the car, returned fire with a legal weapon and fatally struck Hayes. “This tragic event could have been much more disastrous,” Brownsburg Police Capt. Jennifer Barrett said. “Victim three not only saved victim two’s life, but he saved potentially the lives of many others. Victim three did exactly what anybody would have wanted him to do at that scene that day.”
Riot police fended off a barrage of bricks and bottles thrown by revellers as they shut down an illegal rave attended by hundreds in London last night. Video from the scene shows officers in riot gear forming a line as they walk down a street near the Woodberry Down Estate in Finsbury Park to disperse crowds. Scotland Yard has vowed to pour more officers onto the streets of London ahead of more expected illegal raves and violent crime this weekend. The Metropolitan Police have struggled to tackle disorder at huge late-night street parties during the lockdown which have seen police mobbed. Mass gatherings were outlawed by the Government and social distancing rules were imposed in March in an attempt to slow the transmission of COVID-19. Fears about the spread of coronavirus are growing again after the Government's scientific advisory group said the virus R rate has crept above one in London.

Police officers in Portland, Oregon were caught off guard after being approached by a nude female demonstrator, who lay down in the street and began performing yoga. The cops were then filmed “withdrawing.” A woman wearing nothing except a mask and a beanie approached a group of officers clearing out the downtown area in the early hours of Saturday. A line of police and federal agents were standing at an intersection when the naked woman seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Police fired several pepper balls near her shoeless feet, prompting one demonstrator with a shield to stand in front of her and block her from potential harm. However, it does not appear she was injured. The police later dispersed the BLM hyenas crowd.
Leader of radical black-only militia NFAC ‘believes in violence’ & wants a real-life Wakanda for every black person in America. NFAC, the masked, armed black militia that recently marched through a park in Georgia, deems violence and killing an acceptable response to oppression. Their end goal is to break away from the US as their own black-only nation. The NFAC (Not F*cking Around Coalition) grabbed plenty of attention on social media with a high-profile public debut on July 4. The sight of an all-black militia, clutching rifles and handguns, marching in the heartland of the Ku Klux Klan at Stone Mountain caused plenty of ripples. But very little is known about them, despite a frenzy of speculation. It’s not even clear when they were created or how many of them there are.
A 23-year-old Los Angeles police officer known as 'top shot' is being sued by the heartbroken 14-year-old daughter of a man she killed, after he appeared to lunge at the cop with a box cutter. Toni McBride, an officer in LAPD's Newton Division who has appeared in magazines and practices at gun ranges alongside Hollywood stars including Keanu Reeves, is being sued after bodycam footage showing her shooting Daniel Hernandez, 38, in downtown Los Angeles in April was released. The footage shows that after instructing him to drop a box cutter he was holding, Hernandez appeared to continue to walk towards the officer. McBride fired four times before the man fell to the ground. After he collapsed, McBride fired twice more because he still had the weapon in his hands. Use of force was justified. #LAPD #MILF
