(WARNING 21+) The Concord city, CA, has released officer body camera footage showing a dramatic Dec. 1 incident, where officers burst into an elderly coupleโ€™s home and fatally shot their son as he straddled his own mother on the kitchen floor, knife in hand. The son, 60-year-old Donald Eversen had attacked his 90-year-old father and 85-year-old mother, prompting them to call police. An earlier portion of the video shows the father exiting his home on the 900 block of Oasis Drive, his face bloody from the attack. According to police, officers went to the house after the couple called police to report their son acting erratically and possibly under the influence of drugs and alcohol. Graham is a 17-year veteran of the department, and Rodriguez has been with the department for about a year and a half, police said. Both were placed on administrative leave after the shooting. ๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ #shooting

New York City police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing five people in a rabbi's home during a Hanukkah party in the small Rockland County town of Monsey late on Saturday night. The assailant allegedly barged into the home of Rabbi Chaim Leibush Rottenberg, the leader of Congregation Netzach Yisrael-Kosson in Monsey, during a candle-lighting ceremony for the seventh night of Hanukkah and stabbed five worshippers before fleeing in a vehicle. He was reportedly arrested 30 miles away in Harlem about two hours later. Officials were later seen marching the suspect, who is African American, out of the precinct in handcuffs before transporting him back to Rockland County. His name has not been released. The attack appeared to be the latest in a string targeting Jews in the region, including a massacre at a kosher grocery store in New Jersey earlier this month. Video circulating on Twitter shows emergency vehicles and ambulances hurriedly evacuating victims from Rottenbergโ€™s home. #NYPD

The United Nations has approved a Russian-backed cybercrime treaty that has alarmed America and Western powers who fear it will censor the internet. The General Assembly approved the resolution, sponsored by Russia and backed by China. The movement will now set up a committee of international experts in 2020. The panel will work to set up 'a comprehensive international convention on countering the use of information and communications technologies for criminal purposes,' according to the resolution. America, Western powers and other rights groups have already warned against the move as they fear that the language is code for legitimising crackdowns on expression.

Violence broke out on the streets of Paris today when French 'yellow vest' protesters gathered on the 24th day of the nationwide multi-sector strike. Protesters marching against the French government's planned pension reform clashed with the police in Paris on Saturday as police fired tear gas to disperse some groups of demonstrators. French trade unions have spearheaded nationwide strikes since early December in an outcry over President Emmanuel Macron's pensions overhaul, disrupting schools, railways and roads, while lending support to regular protests. Police used tear gas against protesters close to tourists hotspots like the Centre Pompidou museum of modern art, where some demonstrators had tried to erect barricades and set fire to them, and smashed up a bus stop. ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท
