Three would-be robbers were shot and killed Monday after being confronted in a Texas home by a teen with a shotgun, according to reports. “There are three males deceased inside the home right now,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said, according to KHOU-TV. “It appeared they were committing some type of home invasion or attempted burglary inside the residence.” Gonzalez added, “We’re going to have a lengthy follow-up investigation out here at the scene. Having three dead bodies inside a home is something that is not very common.” The owner of the getaway vehicle lived around the corner in Channelview, Fox 26 Houston reported. It was unclear if he was one of those killed. The Houston Chronicle identified the teen with the shotgun as 19-year-old Yair Gallegos. 👮🏻♂️
A group of Massachusetts police departments came together over the weekend for a 4-year-old boy — whose mother was found murdered last month — to give him the ultimate Christmas celebration. Police officers from Fitchburg and other neighboring departments met with the child, named Jaiden or "JJ," in Leominster on Sunday "to give him a special gift this holiday season." JJ, who now lives with his grandparents, was presented with a bicycle and other gifts, along with "a parade of police cars" and cheerful officers who wanted to brighten his holiday, the first Christmas without his mother, Kelsey Clifford. "We were happy to make a Christmas wish come true for a Leominster boy today," the Fitchburg Police Department wrote on Facebook. "Our thoughts are with JJ and his family during this difficult time." 👮🏻♂️

As emergency crews and residents gathered at the scene of a double shooting in East York Saturday night, an officer could be seen sitting in his cruiser watching Hockey Night in Canada on the vehicle’s internal computer. While gathering footage at the scene of the shooting, a Global News camera operator spotted the officer watching the Flyers – Senators game steps away from where two people had recently been shot. An East Bay salon got a Christmas rush it wasn't expecting, ABC7 reports. A Tesla crashed through Tribez Salon and Blowdry Bar in Danville's Blackhawk Shopping Center, California. A witness said he heard a loud screech, then saw the Tesla had smashed through the glass doors and rolled over chairs and finally came to a stop near the product displays. The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash, and it is still unclear if anyone was injured.

Police are searching for a group of violent muggers who attacked two men outside of a New York McDonald's early on Christmas morning. #NYPD officers state that the group approached the two victims - ages 60 and 20 - outside of a Bronx McDonald's located on Third Avenue near 164th. Shocking video shows the muggers attacking the men, with one of the suspects swinging one of the victims until he falls to the ground. According to authorities, the suspects only managed to get away with one dollar.
