A woman barricaded herself inside her California home after a gun battle with police Saturday and then was found dead along with two children. The woman was identified as a San Bernardino County probation officer, KABC-TV reported. It happened around 8 a.m. local time. Ontario police reported gaining entry to the home after a standoff that lasted about three hours. The woman was believed to have shot and wounded her husband before cops were called to the scene, the station reported. He was in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. A police spokesman said the woman retreated into the home after exchanging gunfire with police. At one point police said personnel was on the scene attempting to negotiate with the woman.

(WARNING 21+) lendale Police officials have released new video of a deadly officer-involved shooting. A security guard called police about a man standing in a restaurant parking lot and acting erratically. Police then shot the man after a struggle with two officers. Matthew Rasmussen was the man in this parking lot last month, waving a sharp object and some sort of rag over his head. Several months ago, a judge declared him mentally incompetent. The video was taken from officer Joshua Anderkin's body camera. Anderkin was the first Glendale officer on scene. Two more officers later arrive, one alerting customers to the situation. Then, an officer made a split-second decision to take Rasmussen down. ๐Ÿ”ซ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ #shooting
