Victor Manuel Armante, 60, a Bacum city council official was backing out of his driveway in Senora state, Mexico, at around 7am on Tuesday, with his 28-year-old son Victor Manuel Jr. Two waiting assassins dressed in white waited for the car to draw level with them before one opened fire at the driver's side window. Armante died in the car while his son was rushed to hospital with a facial injury, local media reported. In the footage the shooter appears to fire several times and Armante's car speeds backwards, his foot presumably pushing down on the pedal after he is hit.

Five people including a ten-year-old boy wereshot by a gunman in New York City yesterday, ABC reports. The shooting took place on East 153rd Street and Courtlandt Avenue in the Melrose neighborhood of the Bronx at 4pm. Police are searching for the suspect described as a man in his late 20s wearing a black and blue jacket with short hair. Four out of the five victims were rushed to the Lincoln Medical Center in the Bronx while the boy, ten, was taken to Harlem Hospital Center in Manhattan, according to police. The victims are in a stable condition and the injuries do not appear life threatening. #NY #NYPD

Father and son are arrested for drag racing in New York's Lincoln Tunnel in Corvettes after SHARING a video of their crash on Instagram. New Jersey man Fred Ordine, 44 - a guitarist in a heavy metal band - and his son Chadwick Quinones, 25, were racing in their Corvette sports cars in the 1.5mile-long Lincoln tunnel on February 9. The race ended in an out-of-control crash around 10pm. Quinones shared dashcam video of their race showing his black Corvette speed past a bus and other vehicles. A yellow Corvette, driven by Ordine, is seen in a nearby lane attempting to pass the black sports car just before Quinones loses control of his vehicle and starts to spiral. #fools

Two semi trucks overturned in Utah as the state was slammed by a winter storm that brought with it strong winds. Utah Highway Patrol responded to a crash on the southbound side of I-15 at mile marker 61 near Cedar City Wednesday afternoon where officers found a massive semi-truck had been “blown over.” “High-profile vehicles beware: some serious winds throughout our state right now,” highway patrol said in a tweet. It wasn’t immediately clear if the trailer of the truck was empty at the time of the crash. Just a half-hour later, officers alerted holiday drivers to another overturned semi that was “blown over” on the same highway near mile marker 68.
