Dr. Bruce Hensel, a long-term associate of Rep. Adam Schiff, has been arrested in Los Angeles on pedophilia related charges after he asked a 9-year-old girl to send him sexually suggestive pictures, according to prosecutors and law enforcement. Rep. Adam Schiff and Dr. Hensel have been closely linked for years, with the LA Times describing the doctor as a “special guest” at Schiff’s 50th birthday party in 2010. Schiff also handpicked Dr. Hensel to work with him on health care townhalls in California and has been the recipient of big dollar donations from the 71-year-old throughout his political career. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Dr. Hensel was arrested Wednesday morning in Beverly Hills and charged with contact with a minor for sexual purposes. #LAPD

Nathaniel Berhow has been identified as the California student who was taken into custody and transported to a hospital after allegedly carrying out a shooting at his high school on his 16th birthday that killed two classmates and injured three others, before turning the gun on himself. Surveillance footage reportedly shows the teen walking into the quad, pulling a .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol from his backpack and opening fire, shooting five students. He then turned the gun on himself, shooting himself in the head. When emergency services arrived the five victims, some of whom had run into neighboring classrooms for help during the mass panic, were rushed to hospital as was the shooter who is currently in a 'grave situation'. A female student, aged 16, has died of her injuries, along with a 14-year-old male student. The surviving victims were described as two girls, ages 14 and 15, and a boy aged 14.

A paramedic in Arkansas was arrested for allegedly cutting a diamond ring off the finger of a dead patient and selling it at a pawnshop. Authorities took Lisa Darlene Glaze of Hot Springs into custody around noon and charged her with a felony count of theft by receiving over $5,000, which is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. She also faces a misdemeanor count of unlawful transfer of stolen property to a pawnshop with a maximum of one year in prison, the Sentinel-Record reports. 👮🏻‍♂️
