A jet and rocket-powered car designed to break 1,000 mph has hit 501 mph during its first shakedown tests on the Kalahari Desert’s Hakskeen Pan dry lake bed in South Africa this week. (WARNING 21+) ! On September 23, 2019, around 6:25 p.m., uniformed officers assigned to Harbor Area responded to an "ADW Shooting" call inside a mobile home community at 1000 Figueroa. Upon arrival, the officers encountered a naked male, later identified as David Hernandez, acting erratically. As officers were giving D. Hernandez verbal commands, his father, Raymond Hernandez, exited a nearby trailer. R. Hernandez shielded his right hand behind his back and positioned himself behind D. Hernandez. While still shielding himself behind D. Hernandez, R. Hernandez produced a handgun from behind his back and pointed it in the direction of the officers, resulting in an Officer-Involved Shooting. R. Hernandez was struck by gunfire and later pronounced dead at scene by Los Angeles Fire Department Firefighter/Paramedics. No officers were injured and a 9mm semiautomatic handgun was recovered at scene. 🔫👮🏻♂️ #shooting #LAPD

In Tseung Kwan O in the early morning of November 9, police shot tear gas directly at citizens within 10 metres and deployed pepper spray at close range.
Police ordered members of the press to leave, otherwise they would "bear the consequence" as the police would "apply force indiscriminately".
PTU Commandant David Jordan appeared in Beverly Garden in Tseung Kwan O at 03:19.

A man shot and killed his mother and the family dog, scrawled a bomb threat on the wall and then turned the gun on himself inside a Simi Valley home Thursday, police said. There were no witnesses to the violence, so detectives are working to piece together what led to the slayings, reported The Los Angeles Times. 👮🏻♂️
