Governor Ron DeSantis joined local officials to give an update and address the community. The crash caused significant debris, damage to surrounding infrastructure, and prompted road closures and evacuations in the adjacent community. Approximately 600 residents are being assisted with temporary shelter and other essential needs.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to contact the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office at 561-688-3375.

DeKalb County police are investigating an active and evolving incident at 2000 Bouldercrest Road Sunday evening. Multiple Atlanta Police Department patrol cars were also seen gathered outside Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta. Authorities have not released details regarding potential injuries or how the hospital presence connects to the scene.

UPDATE: Two DeKalb County officers were shot responding to a domestic incident tonight, Chief Gregory Padrick said. Both are stable. The suspect fled into woods before being captured. He also had a gunshot wound and is stable. At least one officer returned fire, Padrick said.
