Emergency Operations Bureau assisted the Okamoto family with Deputy Daniel Okamotos funeral today. Deputy Daniel Okamoto was a dedicated member of our Sheriff’s Response Teams (SRT) and was always assigned to our Sound Truck. His absence will forever be felt by our teams and we send our most heartfelt condolences to the Okamoto family, Lomita Sheriffs Station, Carson Station, the city of Lomita council members, and the entire community who had the honor of knowing him. We love you Oki! #lasdsrt #emergencyoperationsbureau #wewillneverforget

Yesterday, we laid to rest our friend and brother, Officer Brian Gentry #3403. We gathered to honor Brian, with his family, friends and fellow officers. Our thoughts and prayers remain with his loved ones and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and serving alongside him.🙏🏻

Rest easy, brother. We will take it from here.
