The LASD Street Takeover Task Force conducted saturation patrols in areas where street takeovers are known to occur. Deputies made 25 arrests for various offenses to include felony weapons and narcotics violations, driving a stolen vehicle, reckless driving, speed contest, exhibition of speed, and driving under the influence.

62 traffic citations were issued to people driving vehicles with illegal modifications (modified exhausts, modified emissions, illegal lighting equipment, tinted windows, missing or obstructed license plates).

The Street Takeover Taskforce will continue these saturation patrols to serve as a deterrent to illegal street racing activities within the LASD Jurisdiction, and to locate impaired drivers.

WATCH IN FULL: President Donald J. Trump holds a midterm campaign rally in Oklahoma.

POTUS: "The last time the Radical Left Dumocrats had power, they gave you the worst inflation in American history, the highest energy prices in American history, the worst trade deficit in American history, they allowed 25 million people to pour across our borders... If they win the midterms, they will DO IT ALL AGAIN."

"Under Republican leadership, real household incomes have soared to the highest level ever recorded. Since I took office, we've created more than 1 million private sector jobs and more Americans are working than at any point in history. The poverty rate is at its LOWEST level in American history."

THE BEST IS YET TO COME!

"Upon taking office, we discovered that under Crooked Joe Biden and Democrats, nearly one million households buying health insurance through Obamacare were MASSIVELY overcharged — and the greedy Democrats KEPT THE MONEY! We're giving you the money BACK."

One Spicy Raccoon, Zero Thank You Notes 🦝

Happy International Raccoon Appreciation Day! We certainly appreciate our Animal Control Officers and their efforts to keep our feisty, furry friends out of trouble.

Animal Control Officer Floyd found a raccoon tangled in wire in a wetland area just off the Dutch Creek Trail. Officer Floyd cut the wire to free him, but this little guy had plenty to say about the process.

Thanks to Officer Floyd for her bravery and compassion while helping this frightened little firecracker. She knew that behind all that spice was an animal who needed help, and she stepped up.
