BREAKING: Lindsay Clancy’s defense is asking Judge William Sullivan to investigate “Juror Doe”...the lone holdout whose vote resulted in a mistrial.
The 9/18 motion seeks his confidential questionnaire, background-check results, records concerning an alleged 2021 prosecution and abuse-prevention order, cellphone metadata from deliberation days and a limited forensic examination of the phone allegedly carried into the jury room. The defense also wants Juror Doe questioned under oath about his voir dire answers, his Sept. 3 assurances and whether he used the phone or received outside information during deliberations.
The defense is also asking the court to question Juror No. 10 about what he allegedly observed concerning Juror Doe’s cellphone use during deliberations.
The defense requests that this motion be heard in open court on Sept. 29.

A clip circulating online shows a Friday-night crowd on Sept. 18 packed outside a bar on East 6th Street, with a "Pour Choices" sign overhead. Presumably intoxicated individuals appear to be clashing with other patrons and seemingly outside staff.
Police and EMS were already working the same blocks this week after a cluster of suspected overdoses.
Fights on that street are not a surprise in downtown Austin these days, they're a pattern, and police officers can't be in every doorway when the sidewalk turns into a ring.
Looks like some of these guys are going to be feeling more than just the booze in the morning.

Praying for the Linden NJ Police Officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty this morning. 🙏🏻
A Linden Police Officer was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash this morning while participating in a funeral procession.
Shortly before 11:00 a.m., the Officer was traveling southbound on Roselle Street on a marked police motorcycle when he was involved in a collision with a Ford van that was entering a private driveway.
The Officer was transported to University Hospital in Newark with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van was not injured.

According to a news release from his office, the bills are focused on water, electricity and land use with regard to data centers. The bills require data centers to report water and electricity use. Maher asked who, which Tarlov responded with, "Democrats. You haven't noticed?" He laughed and said, "You're being sarcastic?" She said no.
Maher went on to list what he sees going on in the Democratic party.
"They're Communists who think the Islamists are the good guys. Are you kidding, less crazy?" Maher's closing thoughts on the issue were blunt, saying, "They're not less crazy, and they're not recanting any of that crazy gender stuff. I mean, they're doubling down."
Even Maher can see the so-called progressive movement is just poorly cloaked communism.
