HERO ALERT FOR A VERY GOOD BOY: POLICE HAD OFFICERS ON THE GROUND, A DRONE IN THE AIR AND A HELICOPTER SEARCHING for a missing 3-year-old child. Then an unknown neighborhood dog showed up and led Officer Josh Thompson straight to him.

Thompson said the dog kept barking, moving ahead and looking back as though it wanted him to follow.

The officer trusted the dog and followed it through a backyard toward a garage, where the animal led him directly to a vehicle.

Inside was the frightened missing child.

Once officers got to him, the little boy climbed out and wrapped his arms around Thompson’s neck. Police still don't know where the dog came from or who owns him.

Thompson called the animal “a blessing from God.” Louisville police called him a four-legged hero.

Somewhere in Louisville is a VERY good dog

CHP officers in Baldwin Park carried out a pedestrian safety operation, focusing on drivers who failed to yield at crosswalks and other traffic violations. 🚔🚶

The operation targeted areas with heavier pedestrian traffic as officers reminded drivers to slow down, stay alert and yield to people crossing the roadway.
