π» SHOWDOWN: A police officer bravely stood his ground against an unwanted hotel guest in Breckenridge, Colorado, after a bear broke into the building on Tuesday and stole some snacks.
"A bear broke into the Grand Timber Lodge here in Breckenridge. Luckily only some M&Mβs were taken.
Breckenridge Officers were able to coax the bear back into the wilderness, and no animals or people were hurt!
Jokes aside, bears are active in the area, so please stay alert, secure food and trash, and never approach or feed a bear.
Stay safe and maybe hide the M&Mβs. π»π«

A new study tested ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Claude with 100 politically charged questions β and found every major AI chatbot fell for falsehoods from both sides of the aisle while citing sources that literally don't exist.
Of 419 sources the four chatbots provided, 104 webpages didn't exist, and 77 didn't actually answer the questions posed. Sources were valid less than half the time overall.
The study, conducted by Just Facts, found ChatGPT and Gemini performed at a "C student" level, Claude at a "B student" level, and Grok scored better on left-leaning falsehoods but worse on the right β the reverse pattern of the other three. The researcher behind it says the takeaway isn't to abandon AI, but to never blindly trust it: "Don't trust, verify."

While crews were responding to the Gann Fire, a new column of smoke appeared. Crews moved in quickly, bringing dozers, aircraft, and firefighters to the fire before it had a chance to grow.
Dozers cut containment lines. Aircraft dropped retardant and water. Firefighters attacked from the ground. The Gelding Fire was stopped at 3 acres.
For a videographer, getting to capture those first moments is rare. For firefighters, this is the everyday work of keeping wildfires small.

INBOX: "I went back to MacArthur Park yesterday and there was noticeably more activity happening inside the park.
I saw multiple trucks and crews that appeared to be there for cleanup operations. I also saw reporters interviewing people experiencing homelessness throughout the area.
I spoke directly with a police officer at the park, and according to her, the goal of these interviews is to get to the root of WHY people keep returning to MacArthur Park.
Why do people come back after cleanups? What is drawing them back? What resources are missing? And what would actually have to change for the cycle to stop?
Because clearing a park is one thing. Understanding why people continuously return is another.
MacArthur Park has been the focus of cleanup efforts, enforcement, outreach and millions of dollars in public resources β but if the same problems continue returning, maybe the bigger question isnβt βHow do we clear the park?β
Maybe itβs βWhy do they keep coming back?β π·stephaniesapphire69

Led by President Trump and Vice President Vance, the FBIβs Most Wanted Fraudster list has seen unprecedented success β weβve partnered with the WHFraudTF to arrest FOUR Most Wanted Fraudsters in less than 2 months. These subjects were arrested on three different continents, charged with $1.8 billion in fraud schemes, collectively on the run for over 3,500 days β and all captured and returned to America by FBI FTOCs, in just a few short weeks.
Today, weβre adding a new subject. DARREN ANTHONY ROBINSON is wanted for his alleged involvement in an international investment fraud and money laundering scheme. From at least 2015 to June of 2023, Robinson engaged in a Ponzi-style scheme, running a purported professional investment company trading foreign currency, where he allegedly defrauded investors for $100 million in funds to illegally pay for expenses including his own personal lifestyle.
Robinson has been on the run since 2024 and has been federally charged with eleven counts of wire fraud and one count of money laundering. He has ties to Panama, the United Arab Emirates, and Colombia.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to Robinsonβs arrest and conviction. If you have any information, please call 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit tips.fbi.gov.

THIS IS WILD: Just NINE MONTHS in federal prison for driving directly at a Border Patrol agent.
Olivia Wilkins encountered Border Patrol agents assisting Maine law enforcement at the scene of a rollover crash in August 2025. The accident involved two immigrants who were reportedly in the country unlawfully.
Court records say Wilkins objected to Border Patrolβs presence but was still allowed to remain nearby and observe. As an agent escorted one of the men toward a Border Patrol vehicle, Wilkins suddenly accelerated toward them, forcing the agent to pull the man out of the roadway.
Wilkins stopped before striking them, swerved back into traffic and fled, but Maine State Police arrested her a short distance away.
She later pleaded guilty to assaulting a federal officer and was sentenced to ONLY NINE MONTHS in prison. The judge reportedly told Wilkins she was fortunate another officer did not fire his weapon to protect the agent and the man in custody.
This was not a protest or a heated exchange. She used a vehicle to threaten a federal agent carrying out a lawful arrest.
Anti-ICE hysteria has real consequences, and federal officers should not have to wonder whether the next activist confronting them will use a vehicle as a weapon.
Nine months sends exactly the WRONG message.

BIG WIN today at the U.S. Court of International Trade on one of the most DESPICABLE loopholes in American Trade Policy β The so-called βde minimisβ exemption.
For years, Foreign Shippers could send packages worth up to $800 into our Country, DUTY FREE, NO TARIFF, far less scrutiny. It became a giant loophole for TARIFF Cheats β and a Pipeline exploited by Fentanyl Traffickers, Counterfeiters, and other Criminals shipping dangerous and illegal products into America. The numbers were staggering. In 2024 alone, de minimis cost America an estimated 10.8 BILLION DOLLRS in foregone TARIFF Revenue, and an astonishing share of narcotics and counterfeit seizures came through the de minimis channel. So, we CLOSED IT. With the stroke of my mighty pen β NO AUTOPEN!!! β we ended this ridiculous giveaway, and made Foreign Goods play by the rules. The Importers sued. Today, THEY LOST. The Court ruled that the President had the Legal Authority to rescind this so-called βprivilege.β
America is now SAFER, our Workers are better protected, and BILLIONS in TARIFF Revenue that used to slip through this loophole can instead help pay for our Great Military, Tax Relief, NO TAX ON TIPS, and NO TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY. AMERICA FIRST TRADE β AND AMERICA FIRST LAW ENFORCEMENT! President DONALD J. TRUMP
