The New York Yankees took the first step in their long road back from the brink of elimination, by defeating the Houston Astros, 4-1 Friday in front of an exhilarated home crowd in the Bronx. The Astros are still one win away from reaching the World Series, leading the American League Championship Series, 3 games to 2. Game 6 is back in Houston Saturday night. After back to back home losses, including a demoralizing 8-3 loss on Thursday, the Yankees got on the board first Friday against Houston ace Justin Verlander. The 'Bombers' scored all four runs in the first inning, with DJ LeMahieu knocking Verlander's second pitch of the night out of the park. #NY ⚾️🤞☺️

Megyn Kelly got into a heated Twitter fight with ABC News chief political analyst Matthew Dowd, who said that she and Matt Lauer should 'just fade away and enjoy their large pot of money.' On Twitter, Kelly, who was fired by NBC News last year after she made comments on the air about wearing blackface, hit back at Dowd, writing: 'Yes, I could just sit back and "enjoy my money," but instead I've chosen to speak up for women being harassed and abused who have been muzzled by NDAs. Sorry you find that so annoying.'

Washington DC federal judge's arrest warrant is responsible for Mexican authorities' botched attempt to capture El Chapo's son that turned Sinaloa into an urban warzone. The failed raid to capture El Chapo's son on Thursday, which led to the death of eight…
Revealed: El Chapo's TWO sons were arrested by Mexican police, but the eldest escaped custody and then freed his younger brother by starting brutal gunfight that turned Sinaloa into a warzone and left eight dead. Sources told the New York Times that after Ivan was captured during the raid, his henchmen were able to overpower the troops quickly and gain his release. Ivan was said to have organized what would become the substantial show of force that turned Culiacan into an urban warzone for eight hours, all in an effort to get his brother released. He held several of the troops hostage and sources told the newspaper that the cartel henchmen also kidnapped the trooper's families. Authorities were eventually forced to release Ovidio after finding themselves outgunned during the ferocious shootout with Sinaloa Cartel henchmen, which left eight dead and more than 20 wounded.
