BREAKING: MPs VOTE IN FAVOUR OF DELAYING BREXIT DEAL VOTE AND NOW BORIS MUST SEEK AN EXTENSION! SO MUCH FOR JUST WANTING A ‘DEAL’. THE ONLY DEAL THEY’LL ACCEPT IS REMAIN!
Boris Johnson vowed not to 'negotiate a delay' to Brexit today after his moment of triumph on a deal was dramatically snatched away by a Remainer plot. Despite frantic efforts, the PM failed to fend off an amendment tabled by former Cabinet minister Sir Oliver Letwin, which prevented his new package being put to a formal vote this afternoon. Mr Johnson now faces being compelled by the Benn Act to ask the EU for a Brexit extension tonight - but he defiantly insisted he would not change his stance. Responding to the result, he raged: 'The best thing for the UK and for the whole of Europe is for us to leave with this new deal on October 31. ‘I will not negotiate a delay with the EU and neither does the law compel me to do so.’

Washington DC federal judge's arrest warrant is responsible for Mexican authorities' botched attempt to capture El Chapo's son that turned Sinaloa into an urban warzone. The failed raid to capture El Chapo's son on Thursday, which led to the death of eight people in Mexico, was kicked off by an arrest warrant issued by a federal judge in Washington, DC. Mexican security forces aborted an attempt to capture Ovidio Guzman Lopez, one of imprisoned drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman's sons, Thursday in Culiacan, in the Sinaloa state, after finding themselves outgunned in a ferocious shootout with cartel henchmen that left at least eight people dead and more than 20 wounded. Authorities said 35 troops arrived at a home Thursday afternoon to arrest Ovidio on a 2018 extradition request from the US. Although they entered the home where Ovidio and three others were inside, they did not take him into custody. #losers

Police have detained a man suspected of snatching an Alabama toddler from a birthday party as they continue the search for the missing three-year-old. Surveillance images of the man and the vehicle he was driving were released by police after Kamille McKinney…
New video has emerged that shows missing Alabama three-year-old Kamille 'Cupcake' McKinney being approached by a male suspect moments before she was snatched from a park. Birmingham Police Chief Patrick Smith released the video on Friday, appealing to the public for information about one of the two men seen in the video, which shows Kamille playing with a friend on Saturday. Meanwhile, attorneys for Patrick Devone Stallworth, 39, (left) and Derick Irisha Brown, 29, (right) separately denied their clients had anything to do with the abduction after they were identified by police as persons of interest. The new surveillance video, shot outside the Tom Brown public housing projects, is believed to show Kamille and a child friend, and shows two different men approach the children: a known suspect, and an unknown possible witness whom police are seeking for more information. 👮🏻♂️

(WARNING 21+) The Albuquerque Police Department released details about an officer-involved shooting on August 22. APD officers had been dispatched to the bus stop near the Walmart on Eubank after receiving calls about a man tossing a gun from hand to hand. The man was later identified as Roger Schafer, 57. One officer asked Schafer to put his hands in the air, and since multiple officers observed a handgun in the waistline of his pants, they told him to keep his hands away from his waist. One officer fired a 40 mm launcher, striking Schafer in his knee. Police said Schafer grabbed the grip of the gun and began to remove it from his pants. In response, three officers fired their weapons. Officers attempted to render aid, but Schafer was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later determined that Schafer's weapon was a BB gun that resembled a 9 mm handgun. 🔫👮🏻♂️ #shooting

Approximately 300 people wore black T-shirts that read 'Stand With Hong Kong' while others wore white T-shirts that read 'Free Tibet'. A couple of fans even wore Winnie the Pooh costumes, which has become a way to mock Chinese president Xi Jingping due to their 'similarities'. The Nets returned this week after playing exhibition games against the Los Angeles Lakers in Shanghai and Shenzhen. The games were not televised in China after relations between the NBA and Chinese officials became strained following Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey's tweet in support of pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong. One fan's sign was aimed at NBA star LeBron James and Nets owner Joe Tsai, the co-founder of the Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, both of who were critical of Morey's tweet.🏀 #NBA #HK
