Why the coverup??? A caregiver was caught on camera rifling through a 95-year-old woman’s private documents and jewelry while she lay in bed nearby.

Security footage from the Murrieta home shows the woman, employed by Right at Home in Temecula, wearing rubber gloves as she opened desk drawers and photographed tax records, Social Security information, bank statements, and investment files with her phone.

The family says she also took the elderly woman’s wedding ring.

The 95-year-old can be heard asking for help. The caregiver continued searching.

Granddaughter Alicia Speck reported the incident. The company fired the employee and notified Adult Protective Services. This was not the first time a caregiver had stolen from the same grandmother, according to reports.

Now time for the plot twist: Christina Berg.

That is the name used in the original tweet and circulating in local Facebook groups and social media posts about the incident.

Official KTLA reporting deliberately did not name her. The station blurred her face in the security footage and stated they were withholding her identity because she had not been arrested at the time of their story.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Office confirmed they were still investigating and needed additional evidence before any arrest could be made.

Gotta protect the innocent "suspect", right? Maybe she was just looking for a piece of cake and this whole thing is a misunderstanding.

Please, praying for the Chicago police officer who was shot in the line of duty this morning.🙏🏻

A Chicago police officer was among two people shot Monday morning in the Albany Park neighborhood, according to city officials.

Police said the shooting happened in the 4600 block of North Springfield Avenue.

An officer was shot and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center. His condition has not been released.

A second person was also shot, according to the Chicago Fire Department. A third person was transported to a hospital for observation, officials said. Their condition was not immediately available.

On June 20, 2026, Denver Police Kenfield, who is assigned to District 3, was on patrol when he was flagged down by a community member who had just been discharged from an area hospital. The individual explained that they had been transported earlier in the day and did not have a phone to call family. They were lost, unsure how to get home, and attempts to reach their family went unanswered. Without hesitation, Sergeant Kenfield stepped in to help, providing the individual with a courtesy ride home, ensuring they wouldn’t be stranded all night waiting for assistance.👏

NEW: ICE Los Angeles arrested Juan Corona Gonzalez, 43, of Mexico, July 16. Corona has previous arrests possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. He is in ICE custody pending removal.

WATCH: NYPD, FBI, and SDNY provide updates on an ongoing investigation in Manhattan.

The suspect who poured gasoline and ignited it with a lighter and fireworks outside an NYC federal building has been identified as former US army soldier Andrew Arrabaca. 

Officials say after he pulled out an airsoft rifle and fired several pellets. He also had six fireworks, two axes, a hammer, a machete, and 3 knives on him.

The FBI says he had a sign on a cart stating "ICE off our streets."  He is an anti-American, anti-government extremist," James Barnacle FBI assistant director in charge said.
