It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we share the news of Retired Captain Henry Elkin's passing. Captain Elkin was part of Harris County Precinct 3 family for more than a decade, making lifelong friendships along the way. Henry's passion for law enforcement was more than a duty, it was a calling. He shared his knowledge with the younger generation of deputies he supervised, many who credit him with guiding them to supervisory roles. We will miss our brother, his infectious smile, and fantastic fishing stories.
Rest Easy Brother. Prayers for his family of blue and blood.ππ»

Itβs not always the typical tools of the trade we need to make a block safe. Being present, engaging in outreach and even a little sweeping of trash and graffiti removal can make all the difference.
