Police seized eight guns and several high-capacity magazines from the man's home in Redmond, Washington, under an Extreme Risk Protection Order. The man has not been named because he was not arrested or charged. A futsal player was knocked out after a brutal tackle by a rival, who was red-carded as his victim lay unconscious on the floor. Match footage showed Brazilian Daniel Batalha following through with his right foot and kicking his opponent, Fernandinho, in the face in an assault of the kind normally seen in karate or cage-fighting. The shocking images needed no words during a TV slow-motion replay which left it clear just how dangerous the tackle had been. 😱
This is the dramatic moment a Florida convenience store owner blasted AK-47 rounds at an unarmed customer, leaving him permanently disabled. Saf Ahmad, owner of Kwik Pic in Lauderhill, was arrested in December 2017 after he shot Jason Morris in the back on Christmas Eve. The police say surveillance footage they obtained shows Morris was never in possession of a gun. Morris told police he had gone to the store to complain about a previous incident, alleging his friend was beaten up outside the building. Morris also claimed there were nefarious activities going on at the shop and customers had been threatened with violence. Ahmad's lawyer Andrew Rier is quoted by NBC as saying: 'Mr Ahmad did not provoke a confrontation. The confrontation was brought to him'. Ahmad is facing one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. His next hearing was set for November 1. #shooting
