WATCH: Chesterfield police are holding a news conference after two officers were shot and a K-9 was killed in a domestic incident on Sunday.
Two Chesterfield police officers are in critical but stable condition after being shot while responding to a domestic incident Sunday afternoon.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of one of CCPDβs K9 officers, Officer Knight, who passed away last night as a result of this incident. The courage and sacrifice shown by both officers and their K9 partner remind us of the risks our law enforcement community faces each day while protecting others.

I had a very productive call with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, of Israel, and there will be no Troops going to Beirut, and any Troops that are on their way, have already been turned back. Likewise, through highly placed Representatives, I had a very good call with Hezbollah, and they agreed that all shooting will stop β That Israel will not attack them, and they will not attack Israel. Meanwhile in Newsom's California..
A major Southern California Carlβs Jr. franchisee is planning to close 10 restaurant locations and sell 49 others after filing for bankruptcy earlier this year, according to 209 Times.
The franchise operator, which owns 59 Carlβs Jr. restaurants across California, cited rising labor costs, including Californiaβs $20 fast food minimum wage, along with what it described as a lack of corporate support and innovation as factors behind its financial struggles.
Despite generating more than $6 million in monthly revenue, bankruptcy filings show the restaurants were losing over $600,000 per month in 2025. The locations are now being marketed for sale, with potential buyers already expressing interest.
Carlβs Jr. says the bankruptcy is specific to this franchiseeβs operations and does not impact other locations.

Democrats repay them by calling them βNazisβ and the βGestapo.β And eventually, some lunatic hears it and believes itβs his duty to act.
The same Democrats spewing that rhetoric are holding up funding for ICE and Border Patrol. They can fund these heroes or make their jobs more dangerous. They keep choosing wrong.
